Stay On Song And Yuan Dynasty Hand Scroll And Inspiration

In the course of the development of calligraphy art,countless classic works show their unique art forms and languages through different manifestations,and reproduce the evolution and development of history.Among various calligraphy forms,hand scroll is more distinctive,in that it is worth playing and collecting.Furthermore,running scrip in hand scroll form is much better and convenient to reflect mental activities of calligraphers.Therefore,calligraphers of all ages enthrone it all the time.After Song Dynasty,especially,it ushers in the peak of its development,because literati were thought highly and their social status were improved.On the one hand,this paper selects some distinctive running scrips in hand scroll form to analyze writing skills,structures of Chinese characters and arts of composition in details,through researching time backgrounds,learning experiences and calligraphy styles and features of two calligraphers,Mi Fi and Zhao Meng fu.On the other hand,this paper consists of coping and creating.Through different materials,forms,constitutions and contents,the paper conducts research and demonstration of writing,tries different aesthetic pursuits and creative forms,and proposes new ideas of coping and creating running scrips in hand scroll form.
