Writing Course is the key point in teaching Chinese as the second language,and argumentative writing course is the difficult point.Argumentative discourses emphasize the logic and coherence of argumentation,require the students to write in concise language,express clearly and coherently,and have good discourse construction ability.Since the 1980 s,the study of Chinese as the second language has made great progress in phonetics,vocabulary,grammar and other aspects.But the actual lesson shows that there are still many problems in coherence and acceptability of argumentative writing for foreign students.Based on HSK dynamic library and the essays of foreign students collected in the writing requirements of Lesson 22,25,26,27,28 and 30 of Developing Chinese Intermediate Writing Course II.This paper studies the discourse of foreign students' argumentative writing from three aspects.Through literature research,interviews,data analysis and inductive method,combined with discourse micro-structure and macro-structure.The purpose of the study is to analyze the problems in the argumentative writing of foreign students,and put forward the relevant teaching suggestions to adapt to the teaching of argumentative writing in teaching Chinese as the second language.The first part summarizes the structural features and discourse coherence of argumentative writing.The second part analyzes the problems in foreign students' argumentative writing from three aspects: logical cohesion,semantic structure and discourse structure.The third part puts forward teaching suggestions.The introduction explains the problems of logical cohesion,semantic structure and discourse structure are more prominent in the argumentative discourse of foreign students at the intermediate and advanced stages,which seriously affects the coherence of argumentative discourse.These problems are influenced by many factors,among which the individual factors of foreign students and learning environment are the most important.In view of this,with logical thinking as the main line,combined with teaching,discussion,examples,outline schema teaching methods,this study puts forward the teaching suggestions of cultivating foreign students' Chinese thinking mode,combining reading and writing,and combining composition marking and commenting.
