A Research On Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation Of Hanshu

Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation of Hanshu is the masterpiece of punctuation and annotation by Zhong Xing,a prestigious literateur and critic of Ming Dynasty.With abundant content and distinctive style,this work is of great research value.This paper focuses on Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation of Hanshu,investigates its authenticity,edition,regulation,contents and characteristics.Based on those,the author probes into Zhong Xing's literary theory and historical thought,excavate the literary and historical value of Hanshu,and shows Zhong Xing's achievements on punctuation and annotation.In Chapter One,this paper explores the authenticity of Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation of Hanshu,introduces its edition and regulation.Firstly,the author recommends editions of Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation of Hanshu.After contrast and comparison with Shihuai and The collection in Yin Xiuxuan,the author proves that the phenomenon of contents duplication in works of Zhong Xing is widespread,so it cannot be simplely inferred that Zhong Xing's masterpiece of punctuation and annotation is counterfeit.Then,the author combines the printing setting and contents of Shihuai and Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation of Hanshu,to reckon that the nature of Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation of Hanshu is analogue to the draft of Hanshu part in Shi Huai.At last,the author presents the regulation of Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation of Hanshu,which is divided into character comments and symbol punctuations.In Chapter Two,this paper analyzes Zhong Xing's literary punctuation and annotation in writing art,from the aspect of words,syntax and text.The author sums up Zhong Xing's uses of words to crux,conceal and brevity,his uses of syntax to circuitous in the beginning,ingenious in the middle and boundless in the end,his uses of text to bringout,coordination and foreshadowing.In Chapter Three,this paper analyzes Zhong Xing's historical punctuation and annotation in historical brushwork.In the first three sections,the author divided Zhong Xing's punctuation and annotation on the style of the Spring and Autumn Annals in Hanshu into regulation narration and expression,while explore them separately.The forth section discusses Zhong Xing's punctuation and annotation on these parts which transform from Hanshu to Records of the Historian,while investigate their styles distinctly.Otherwise,this section analyses the extension of historical narration in Hanshu based on Zhong Xing's punctuation and annotation to articles of Han Dynasty included in Hanshu.In Chapter Three,this paper summarizes the characteristics of Zhong Xing's punctuation and annotation and defines its values and deficiencies.First of all,it shows Zhong Xing's original thought and meticulous observation.Zhong Xing shares lucid and lively language style,which is brief,vivid,visual and emotional and personal.More concretely,he comments on history more than literature in contents,pays more attention to search causality,which shows violent warning intention.He emphasizes on proclaim the spirit of an article while despise on generalize the specific grammar.Secondly,Zhong Xing's punctuation and annotation on Hanshu contributes to excavate its literary and historical value.In fact,Zhong Xing enriches the variety of Hanshu's punctuation and annotation in Ming Dynasty by his unique style,his comments shows his thought and inclination,which also conduces to rectify some one-sided comments about Zhong xing in Qing Dynasty.At end,the author advances that Zhong Xing's punctuation and annotation on Hanshu still have the defects of lack of systematicness and objectiveness although are meticulous and original.In appendix,the author reorganizes the preface and a part of compilation about Zhong Xing's punctuation and annotation on Mr Zong BoJing's Annotation of Hanshu.
