A Study On [Ka???²¹]??? And [U?⁵¹]??? In You County Dialect With Semantic Map

[ka(?)21](?)and[u?51](?)were described as two coexisting "SAY" verb in You county dialect in the paper,particularly focusing on their syntactic and semantic meanings.The paper tries to draw a semantic map of the "SAY" in Chinese dialect based on the existing study.According to this semantic map,the multi-functional grammar patterns of the "SAY" verb in You county dialect would be obvious.Then some explanation would be given for these multi-functional grammar patterns.The paper tries to stick to the "Three Full":full of observation,full of description,full of explanation.All these works would contribute to futher research in some sense.This paper is divided into four parts.Chapter one is the introduction.This chapter firstly introduces the theories which were used in researches,and some basic information about You county.Chapter two is the description of the syntax and semantics,as well as the semantic comparison of these two words.This chapter starts with the description of the semantics,then compares the differences,including the semantics,the semantic types of object,and eventu?lities.They share the responsibility of "SAY" verb in you county dialect.There are some differences shown in using frequency,semantics,semantic types of object and eventu?lities.Chapter three introduces the multifunctional grams of the "SAY" verb in You county,"[ka(?)21](?)" and“[u?51](?)".They undertake different syntactic functions.The paper draws up the semantic map of "SAY" verb in Chinese dialects on the basis of existing researches.As a consequence of the semantic map,it is obvious that the grammatical processes of“[ka(?)21](?)" and "[u?51](?)",which can be explained by grammaticalization theory and cognitive theory.Finally,the last chapter is the conclusion of the paper.This chapter makes a summary of the above research content,and analyzes the deficiencies in the research process,and clarifies the direction of future efforts.
