The consistency of individual behavior preferences can reduce psychological discomfort and stress.The use of communication tools blurs the boundary between work and family.This behavior is consistent with work-family integration preferences,but is consistent with work-family separation preferences.Preferences are inconsistent.The human-environment matching theory believes that the consistency between people and the environment will bring positive results,and when the environment cannot provide the conditions or resources required by individuals,it will lead to tension,negative emotions and conflicting experiences.Individual characteristics and organizational environment affect individuals'use of communication tools.This study matches individual work-family integration/segmentation preference characteristics with organizational integration/segmentation characteristics and classifies individuals into four categories:fully integrated(integrated organization,integrated preference);Partially divided(integrated organization,divisional preference);Partially integrated(divided organization,integration preference);Completely divided(divided organization,divisional preference).This study explores the effective communication tool strategies adopted by the four types of individuals during working and non-working hours.In this study,21 employees were interviewed through interviews to obtain more than 90,000 words of interview text.The research results are as follows:First,the current situation of handling working events during non-working hours:In addition to the body of fully divided organizations,the remaining three types of fully integrated,partially divided,and partially integrated individuals use communication tools to handle work affairs during non-working hours.,Which is the most common among fully integrated individuals.The source of incidents that use communication tools to deal with work during non-working hours is the requirements of co-workers;the nature of the work;and the tasks of the work.The impact on integration preference employees is to bring positive psychological experience,improve work efficiency,and bring positive work emotion experience to the family field;the impact on segmentation preference employees is:individual sleep,mood,work-family balance,working environment Satisfaction has an adverse effect.Second,the effective strategy for processing working affairs during non-working hours:a fully integrated individual adopts a fully integrated strategy,that is,everything is processed;a fully divided individual adopts a completely divided strategy,and all things are not processed;partially integrated and partially divided The individual will choose whether to handle the incident according to the following specific circumstances:the specific function of the communication tool;the match between the individual and the task(whether it is within the scope of responsibility,whether the ability is competent,and whether the information is complete);the incident itself is a major emergency Degree and its subsequent influence;time and space and other situations;the importance of contact objects.Third,the current situation of handling family affairs during working hours:The source of handling family affairs with working tools during working hours is the needs of cohabitants:the need for social activities abroad and the responsibilities entrusted by family roles.The impact of working time on family events includes positive and negative emotional experiences,increased job satisfaction,reduced work-family conflict,and negative effects on work:interference with work progress and reduced work efficiency.Fourth,the effective strategy for handling family affairs during working hours:fully divided individuals and partially divided individuals tend to be completely divided,that is,everything is not processed;fully integrated individuals;partially integrated individuals will be based on the event itself(things The urgency of the incident,the subsequent impact of handling the incident),the situation(time and space),whether the work is completed,the importance of the contact,and whether it can seek external support to choose whether to handle the incident.
