There are many researches on the interrogative and non-questioning usage of interrogative pronouns in academic circles,but there are few researches on the negative usage of interrogative pronouns and less on the acquisition of this usage by Chinese learners in different countries.es in the future and some reference will be provided for teachers' teaching.Because of historical reasons and the convenience of geographical location,the communication between China and Russian-speaking cou ntries is very frequent,and the students from Russian-speaking countries who come to China to study are also increasing day by day.Therefore,we choose foreign students from Russian-speaking countries as the research object to help them better acquire the negative usage of interrogative pronouns.First of all,on the basis of the analysis of the research status of the nega tive usage of interrogative pronouns and other non-questioning usage,we use the theory of "three planes" to analyze th e negative usage of three interrogative pronouns with higher frequency "who" "what" and "which".Secondly,the negative usage of six interrogative pronouns involved in the questionnaire is systematically and generally analyzed by two ways:topic-by-question analysis and comprehensive analysis.In the analysis of errors there are four types of errors:missing errors wrong addition errors,wrong generation errors and wrong order errors.We believe that the main causes of the above types of errors are negative transfer of mother tongue,overgeneralization of target language,negative tr ansfer of culture,influence of communication strategies,and influence of learning strategies.Finally,according to the types and causes of errors,the corresponding teaching suggestions are given from two aspects:teachers and students.Teachers should adjust teaching strategies and teaching methods.Students should overcome the psychology of fear of difficulties,avoid avoidance strateegies master the target language skillfully,and enhance the awareness of language and culture learning.
