In the 20 th century, with the opening of China's door and frequent cultural exchanges between China and the west, oil painting began to grow as a representative of western spiritual culture in China. As the first real modern art school in the western modern sense,Fauvism painting is different from the western classical realistic painting. It has a unique expression technique and an obvious freehand tendency.Fauvism painting and its strong color, coupled with the shape of deformation,is famous all over the world. It has opened a new trend of modern art development, and has a profound impact on female painters in the period of the Republic of China. The full text is divided into four chapters, the first chapter is "the generation and spread of Fauvism",mainly analyzing the formation and development of Fauvism art style, and through European,Japanese and Chinese Fauvism style painters to elaborate the artistic characteristics of the school. The second chapter is "the era background of female painters in the period of the Republic of China".According to the records of relevant historical materials and documents,it analyzes the historical background of the normal development of female painting in the period of the Republic of China. The third chapter is "the influence of Fauvism on the formal language of female painters in the period of the Republic of China",which analyzes the Fauvism expression techniques used by female painters in the period of the Republic of China. In terms of color, gradually get rid of the more conservative traditional realistic style and its dull color performance, and use the strong and subjective pure color for flat coating;in terms of line, use the greater simplification and writing sense techniques, highlight the formal meaning of line and stroke, and pay attention to the writing sense performance of line;use decorative patterns in the pattern, and pursue the flat effect. The fourth chapter is "the influence of Fauvism on the emotional expression of female painters in the period of the Republic of China",and discusses the spiritual connotation of Fauvism in their personal oil painting creation. They began to enter the society and integrate into the spirit of the times;they focused on themselves and dug more space for artistic creation from their life experience;as women of the new era, their hazy female consciousness gradually became warm and showed their endowments, advantages and charm in art. This paper mainly takes the works of female painters in the period of the Republic of China as an example to analyze the artistic characteristics of the Fauvism in the female oil paintings in the period of the Republic of China and their emotions conveyed by the expression of Fauvism.Exploring the influence of the Fauvism group of female oil painters in the period of the Republic of China provides a new angle, new vision and new way for the reform of modern art and the development of Chinese art history.
