Herta Müller,a German female writer and poet,won the 2009 Nobel Prize for Literature for "describing the life picture of the deprived with the conciseness of poetry and the directness of prose".All her life,she accused Romanian Ceausescu of totalitarian rule and Stalin’s persecution of innocent Germans.This paper adopts the way of text careful reading,combined with Miller’s own experience and his poetic view,based on the writing of "concentration camp" in his novels,focusing on the reason,expression and significance of this kind of "concentration camp" writing,hoping to be able to discuss the reason,expression and significance of this kind of "concentration camp" writing in China.Miller’s research is helpful.This paper includes three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction mainly analyzes the research status of Herta Miller’s novels at home and abroad,and points out the reasons and innovations of this topic.The main body part mainly includes four chapters.The first chapter discusses the reasons for the writing of concentration camp based on Miller’sown life experience and poetic view.The second chapter analyzes the performance of the social picture of "concentration camp" in the novel,mainly from two aspects: one is Romanian totalitarian "concentration camp",the other is Stalin labor camp,these two kinds of "concentration camp" picture is essentially a kind of "illogical".The absurd social situation.The third chapter analyzes the characters in the "absurd" situation of the "concentration camp",in which the characters under the "concentration camp" can be divided into the image of the protagonist with "autobiographical" and the group of others from the perspective of the protagonist.In short,the characters under the "concentration camp" are some "deprived people" who are "not worth mentioning".The fourth chapter explores the characteristics and significance of Herta Miller’s "concentration camp" writing.Herta Miller’s "concentration camp" writing has its own characteristics,mainly in the "concentration camp" theme of the daily,metaphorical,rebellious writing.And her "concentration camp" writing inherits the critical realism tradition of "concentration camp" literature,exposes the darkest scene in human history,shows the complexity and dark side of humannature,and speaks for the "deprived".The conclusion part discusses the reference effect of Herta Miller’s "concentration camp" writing on contemporary Chinese literature,so as to arouse a kind of public reflection.
