Education is the foundation of the development of one country while education policy is based on teachers.The investigation and research on school-based teaching in county-level middle schools have positive practical value and practical significance.As a front-line middle school teacher,the author finds that the development of school-based teaching and research is slow and there are some problems.These issues make the school-based teaching and research fail to achieve the desired results.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the quality of school education by fully understanding the present situation of school-based teaching and research,and analyzing and solving the problems faced by school-based teaching and research in the actual situation of the practice.In view of this situation,this paper takes senior high school English teachers as the research object,and mainly adopts empirical survey method,which includes the questionnaire survey method,the interview method and the observation method to understand the school-based teaching and research status of three main key secondary senior high schools' English teachers in the author's work place,analyze the specific problems in the process of school-based teaching and research,and put forward the countermeasures to solve these problems with expectation to explore more reasonable and efficient school-based teaching and research methods.On the basis of Constructivism Learning Theory,Reflective Teaching Theory and Action Research Theory,the main factors affecting school-based teaching and research are as following: whether the model of school-based teaching and research is scientific and complete or not;whether it is reasonable to choose teaching and research methods and stimulate teachers to improve their professional accomplishment and gather collective wisdom;whether the evaluation mechanism and management system of school-based teaching and research implement the specific teaching and researchprocess;whether it is instructive and forward-looking;whether it can ensure the smooth implementation of teaching and research;whether the school-based teaching and research practice process reflects teachers' main position as researchers,and whether the research content roots in and serve for classes.Based on the problems found,this paper puts forward the following solutions:first,schools should construct a new model of school-based teaching and research,and deepen teaching and research from two aspects: thematic discussion and self-development.Based on teachers' personal thinking,combined with peer assistance and expert guidance,thematic discussion method can help teaching and research groups to move from passive acceptance to active development.The self-development model requires teachers to pay attention to the development of their own professional quality and make individualized development plan.In the process of concrete practice,teachers should combine "theory and skills "," research and exchange" and "experience and reflection" to maximize self-development results of school-based teaching and research.Secondly,schools should innovate and promote school-based teaching and research practice.The interest of school-based teaching and research brings new ideas into the classroom to realize a better teacher-student interaction.The transmission of information card makes the school-based teaching and research resources flow efficiently and stimulate teachers' interest in participating in school-based teaching and research activities.The project-based teaching and research is the extraction and organic integration of specific problems,realizing the maximum value-added of school-based resources and achievements,and constructs the school-based teaching and research suitable atmosphere with its remarkable openness in the educational dimension,the learning dimension and the creation dimension.At the same time with the expert guidance,special lectures,timely communication and excellent case analysis and other aspects,schools can enrich the way of school-based teaching and research practice activities.Finally,improve and deepen the school-based teaching and research system,innovate the management methods.From the point of view of evaluation mechanism,schools should pay attention to the assessment of weight and the leap of quality;payattention not only to the process of school-based teaching and research,but also to the application of results;from the point of incentive system,schools should combine material and spiritual incentives and pay more attention to and optimize spiritual incentives;promote the implementation of guarantee system to guarantee the development of school-based teaching and research in human and financial resources,especially to make full use of the advantages of talents.At the same time,the state,schools and teaching and research departments must do a good job in management of control and guidance.
