Under the premise of emphasizing the practicability and effectiveness of English education,it is very important to improve the quality of reading class teaching because the English teaching materials in middle school are mainly reading text,and the training of each skill such as listening,speaking and writing is based on reading text.Due to the influence of natural regional environmental differences,economic development level and other factors,English reading in southwest Guizhou Province still ignores the main position of students in the daily teaching process,neglecting the cultivation of cultural awareness and reading strategies.Further more,the simplex teaching forms and the lack of necessary communication and guidance between teachers and students are still the main problems of the English teaching in this area.All of these result in the poor efficiency and students' poor ability of learning English.In order to further improve the efficiency of English reading teaching in this area,this study takes the actual middle school education situation in southwest Guizhou as the research environment,analyzes and summarizes the teaching mode and matters needing attention to improve the efficiency of English class,including students' interest in English learning and their academic achievement.Based on humanistic educational thought,constructivism learning theory,subjective education theory and social interaction theory,this study proves that "double subject interactive" teaching mode is a valuable teaching method which meets the subjective demands of teachers and students and the needs of practical English teaching in southwest Guizhou.What's more,it also provides some references and practical materials for the effective application of "double subject interactive" teaching mode in other English teaching classes.The first part of this study introduces the basic situation,including background,research problems and methods,the significance and framework of this study.Then,in order to describe the research status of the content involved in this study,the second partelaborates the research status and development direction of English teaching mode in senior high school,as well as the concept of “double subject” teacher-student relationship and “interactive” teaching method.Starting from the present situation and development direction of English reading education in southwest Guizhou Province,this paper expounds the background and reasons of the application of “double subject interactive” teaching mode in senior high school English teaching.The third chapter explains humanism in education,constructivism learning theory,subjectivity education theory and social interaction theory.Combined with the teaching experiment of this study,this paper discusses the embodiment of the above theory in the teaching mode of “double subject interactive”,and introduces the teaching mode of“double subject interactive” from many related aspects,including teaching goal,teaching method,process and evaluation.The purpose of the above content is to analyze the related theories of “double-subject interactive” teaching mode more deeply and concretely,and to explain clearly the matters needing attention in each process of application.In addition,the design direction of concrete activities when applying this mode to teaching is also analyzed at the end of this part.The second part of the study is mainly about the teaching experiment,design of teaching experiments,the analysis and discussion of experimental results,and the summary of experimental experience.In order to reflect the scientific nature and pertinence of the experiment,the fourth chapter carries on the concrete design to the teaching experiment part involved in the study.During this chapter,the experimental purpose,the experimental object,the preparation work including the questionnaire design and the teaching situation analysis before the experiment are clearly interpreted so as to make sure that the readers can understand the procedure of the teaching experiment.Moreover,the experiment process design and the concrete experiment teaching case display are also explained at the end of this chapter for the sake of offering real and exercisable example of case using "double subject interactive" teaching method for English reading class.In order to prove the practical application significance of "double-subject interactive" teaching mode,the fifth chapter expounds the test results before and after the teaching experiment.In the discussion of the experimental results,the influence of "double-subject interactive" teaching mode onreading motivation,reading teaching mode,class efficiency,reading habit strategies and English reading ability are comprehensively analyzed,which shows the different influences of "double-subject interactive" teaching mode on English reading class.In order to provide some useful references for the effective application of "double-subject interactive" teaching mode in the future,this paper proposes that teachers should pay attention to the comprehensive preparation of teaching before class and the degree of students' preparation because both are necessary for teachers to have a better design for the following class,and are useful to let students get deeper understanding of their following learning content.As for the procedure of English reading class,this paper introduces the guidance and supervision of cooperative inquiry and the objective consciousness of activity design in detail.In this way it can make the concrete methods of the application of "double-subject interactive" teaching mode more clear.Last but not least,the comprehensive and realistic evaluation and the timeliness of feedback after class are emphasized at the end of this chapter to tell am truth that teachers should attach importance to the feedback after class.In summary,this study takes the actual middle school education situation in southwest Guizhou as the research environment,and analyzes the concrete application of "double subject interactive" teaching mode based on relevant literature and theory.Through the demonstration and discussion of the actual teaching experiment process and results,the research proves that the "double subject interactive" teaching mode is an effective teaching method which meets with the subjective demands of teachers and students in southwest Guizhou for their English teaching and study,as well as the needs of practical English teaching.In addition,the whole study provides some useful references and practical materials which will be of benefit to the effective application of "double subject interactive" teaching mode in other English teaching classes.
