A Research On The Sino-Farsi Glossary: Annotation Of A New Text

This study is a new edition of Huihuiguan Yiyu-a Sino-Farsi Glossary-Additional vocabularies.Till now there is only one edition of Additional Vocabularies which is collected in Berlin Library,my research on this new edition-the annotation and correction with the Berlin edition-would enrich the studies of Huihuiguan Yiyu.Based on the change-both names and contents-of different editions of this text would be revealed,this thesis also studies the track of change of the organization for editing this text: before and after establishing Si Yi Guan.In the conclusion,based on the research of this text itself,I would want to explore the role of language in the process of cultural exchange and communication,especially how the role of language could and should play in the “Belt and Road Initiative” of China.
