| Xianrenya is located in the Maiji Mountain Scenic Area,65 kilometers southeast of Tianshui City,Gansu Province.The northeast direction of Maijishan Grottoes was built in the North and South Dynasties.Almost 1600 years ago,it was a collection of Taoism and Buddhism.Religious dojo.As a gathering place for statue culture in the cave temples,there were more than 164 statues in the Northern Wei,Song,Ming and Qing dynasties.The murals in the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties covered an area of more than 350 square meters,and there were 27 tombs of Qin Shihuang.Ming and Qing Dynasties.The color sculptures are well-preserved and are representative in the northwestern region,which is of great significance for the study of the emergence and development of the artistic style of religious statues in the area.In view of the current insufficient research on the fairy cliff sculptures,this article takes18 colored sculptures of Luorentang fairy cliffs as an example to try to enrich people’s understanding of fairy sculptures on cliffs.And the art of colored sculptures in the Northwest based on field investigations.During many investigations,the author found that the colored sculptures of Xianrenya Luohantang are very different from the Luohan statues in Shaanxi,Shanxi,Yunnan and other areas,and can’t help asking three questions: First,what is the 18 Luohan of Xianrenya Luohantang.Model style characteristics? Second,what are the reasons for the 18 Luo Han statues in the Hall of Arahant on the Cliff of Eternal Life? The third is why the Eighteen Lohan statues in the Hall of Immortal Cliff Lohan appeared in this style?Based on these three issues,this article first defines the concept of "Arhat",sorts out the origin of the Chinese Arhat statue style,and attempts to place the eighteen Arhats of the Immortal Cliff Arhat Hall in the historical sequence.Second,using anthropological field survey methods,in-depth field surveys,surveys,cartography,and first-hand image data and literature data collected are combined to describe the situation of Xianrenya Grottoes and Luohantang as comprehensively as possible.Then,from the perspective of modeling,using the methods of artistic stylistic analysis and archeological typology,combined with personal artistic experience,summarize,summarize and summarize the "thick,strong,simple,modest" style characteristics of the eighteenth century.Fairy Cliff Fairy.Bodhisattva and its statues are "dazzling",and an in-depth analysis of this unique style and its production technology.In addition,three factors affecting the origin of Luo Hantang’s color sculpture style are proposed:First,the commonality of the times: the prosperity of the eighteen Luohan beliefs in the MingDynasty and the spread of statues.2.Regional characteristics: The cultural environment and geographical factors of the Tianshui area in the Ming Dynasty.3.Personality of craftsmen:The craftsmen of the Ming Dynasty inherited and transformed 18 traditional Luohan styles.Finally,on the premise of stylistic analysis,explore the ideology behind Luo Hantang’s statue form,trying to reveal the deep meaning of its cultural level. |
