Investigation And Research On The Colored Sculptures Of Princess Temple In Fanzhi, Shanxi

The Princess Temple is a monastery located at the foot of Wutai Mountain,founded in the Northern Wei dynasty,is the inner remains of the Ming and Qing dynasties works,especially the main hall and painted sculpture is a rare masterpiece of the Ming Dynasty sculptures,but the current research on it is not so much,so this article is based on the predecessors,through the field visits and the combination of literature and other methods,explore the artistic features of painted sculptures in the Ming Dynasty.In order to make the paper more targeted,the author mainly in the Princess Temple over the temple painted sculpture for the research center.On this basis,the article mainly includes three parts.The first part explains the contents of the sculpture in the temple and the painting of a comprehensive data measurement and drawing sketch line diagram,the second part of the main focus on the statue of the Temple of the textual research,such as the cover of Bergamot and India,eighteen arhats identity test,the third part of the Princess Temple in the Ming Dynasty as the starting point,from the point of view,Excavation of the same period with the region of other monasteries of the artistic characteristics of sculpture.The full text of the Princess Temple through the Temple of the deep research,basically clear the temple of the Ming Dynasty color sculpture characteristics and style of origin,in order to regain recognition of its position in the history of Buddhist sculpture.
