Plant Writing And Desire Expression In Mo Yan's Novels

Mo Yan is a writer with great influence in the history of contemporary literature,whose novels have rich plant imagery,and through the writing of plant imagery,he lets the novel preserve his original experience of encountering nature.From Mo Yan's novel,we not only find the formal beauty of plants,but also see Mo Yan's metaphor for the human existence situation.This paper attempts to study the connection between plant writing and the expression of desire in Mo Yan's novels.Starting from the detailed reading of the text of Mo Yan's novel,taking plant writing as the center,explores two levels of problems: The first is the plant writing in the novel to express the novel's protagonists what kind of desire? How is it expressed? The second is to contact the author's growing background and creative experience,from the perspective of creative psychology to explore the novel desire expression motivation and reason?This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly combs through the basic situation of Mo Yan's creation and the researcher's summary of Mo Yan's research results,and defines the relevant concepts involved in the paper.The body part is based on the three basic forms of human desire,which is divided into three chapters.The first chapter explores the relationship between plant writing and human appetite.Mo Yan's novel simply writes about the unsatisfying hunger of human appetite,the pleasure of satisfaction,and the alienation state under the condition of over-satisfaction of appetite,thus expressing the author's deep thinking on the relationship between man and nature.The second chapter,from the point of view of plant writing and expression of human libido,explores the use of plants in Mo Yan's novels,using symbolic,metaphor,innuendo and other methods,the unique expression of human libido.The third chapter,starting from the "power desire",explores the power symbolized by plant form in the abstract sense,as well as the oppression of power to human beings,and analyzes the relationship between the acquisition,consolidation,deprivation,loss,transformation and so on of power with plant writing as the starting point.The conclusion part summarizes and sublimates the first three chapters.In short,Mo Yan's novel shows the multiple possibilities of plant writing,whose plant writing expresses human desires from different levels in depth,reflects on the dilemmas faced by human beings and nature,culture and institutions,power and civilization,restores our perception and understanding of plants,and reshapes the integrity of our life experience.
