The Study Of Literary Geography Criticism From The Perspective Of Chinese And Western Comparison

Chinese literary geography criticism was put forward by Zou Jianjun in 2008.It has been developed for more than ten years.Since its rise,many scholars have participated in the research and promoted the development of literary geography criticism from the construction of theoretical terms and the development of practical criticism.As a new method of criticism,literary geography criticism follows the hot spot of theoretical research in the academic circle and pays attention to the relationship between literature and geographical space,which is innovative.However,we need to pay attention to the fact that literary geography criticism is still a developing theory,and there are still some deficiencies in the process of development.Based on the current research situation of the literary geography criticism,this paper systematically combs the development of the literary geography criticism,and compares the Western and Chinese literary geography criticism from the diachronic and synchronic aspects,from the perspective of comparison between China and the West,this paper not only traces the subtle influence of western geographical criticism on Chinese literary geographical criticism,but also further explores the unique charm of Chinese literary geographical criticism,that is,highlighting its local characteristics and revealing the reason why literary geographical criticism has become a research hotspot at present.So that we can grasp the related content of Chinese and Western literature and geography research as a whole.The full text is composed of five parts.The first part is the introduction.It analyzes and explains the purpose of the paper,the significance of the topic,the current status of research at home and abroad,research methods and ideas,and the innovation and difficulties of the paper.The feasibility of the study was demonstrated.The first chapter defines and differentiates the key terms of literary geography,such as literary geography,cultural geography,literary geography criticism and geographical criticism.By defining the key terms of China and the West,we can grasp the basic concepts and lay the foundation for the following specific analysis.The second chapter is the key part of this study,which makes a comparatively in-depth comparative study on the geographical criticism of China and the West.First of all,from a diachronic perspective,it sorts out the geographical ideas embodied in Chinese and Western literature,so as to show the different geographical traditions and creative ideas of China and the West since ancient times.On this basis,it is helpful for the comparative study of Chinese and Western geographical criticism.Secondly,the rise and development of Chinese literary geography criticism are combed in order to understand its growth context.The reasons for the rise of literary geography criticism in China include: first,the reflection on the absence of geographical space in literary criticism;second,the need to fight for the right to speak in literature;third,the tradition of the close relationship between literature and geography;fourth,the need to protect the environment.On this basis,by listing the scholars and their viewpoints who have made important contributions to the study of literary geography criticism in China,we can show how the study of literary geography criticism in China is carried out.Thirdly,it summarizes the Western geographical criticism from two aspects: the rise and development of the school of geographical criticism and the representatives of geographical criticism.This paper mainly discusses the views of the French researcher Westphal and the American scholar Telly on geographical criticism.On the basis of the cognition of Chinese literary geography criticism and Western geography criticism,the author explains their similarities and differences.Mainly from the interdisciplinary,focusing on text analysis and highlighting the importance of geographical space in the criticism of these three aspects explained the similarities between the two.The differences between them are mainly reflected and studied from the aspects of different ideological basis and ways of thinking,different routes of geographical criticism between China and the West,theoretical system and critical practice.Finally,it discusses the subtle influence of western geographical criticism on Chinese literary geographical criticism.It is the active and effective communication and interaction between China and the West that promote the mutual construction of the two kinds of criticism.The third chapter discusses how to construct the local discourse of Chinese literary geography criticism based on the second chapter.First of all,it makes adialectical analysis of the attribution of Chinese literary geography,and clarifies the local logic and attribution of the current research paradigm of Chinese literary geography criticism and its terminology system.Secondly,it analyzes the uniqueness of Chinese literary geography criticism compared with Western geographical criticism.Its local characteristics are reflected in the following aspects: first,on the basis of theory,Chinese literary geography criticism has the support of ancient literary theory;second,on the theoretical system,second,in the theoretical system,literary forward some suggestions on how to solve the problems existing in the criticism of Chinese literary geography.Due to the fact that the literary geography criticism in China is still in the process of development,it inevitably has some shortcomings,such as the uneven distribution of criticism objects,the ambiguity between the visual threshold of literary geography and that of literary geography criticism,the insufficient degree of dissemination and the labeled criticism.In the face of these shortcomings,the author makes a corresponding reflection,and puts forward suggestions from three aspects:theory builders,literary critics and readers.On the basis of the full text,the conclusion part summarizes the achievements,contributions and potential problems of Chinese and Western literary and geographic criticism,and looks forward to its development.The author believes that Chinese literary geography criticism will have a place in international discourse due to its unique charm.Whether it is Chinese literary geography criticism or Western geographic criticism,the two types of criticism can promote each other's development through continuous exchanges and interactions,making geographic criticism more and more perfect and dynamic.
