Research On The Propagation And Display Design Of Color Painting Protection In Xi’an Bell Tower

As a great role in ancient Chinese architectural decoration,Chinese traditional architectural paintings have a long history of development,with rich connotations.The architectural heritage boasts unique artistic attributes and historical information,which is urgent to be inherited.However,the architectural painting are hard to be preserved,and are influenced by human activities and natural environment.As time goes by,the paintings are damaged to varying degrees.However,the architectural paintings can be displayed in the exhibition hall,which is conducive not only to protecting some paintings,but also to showing the paintings to the public.Thus,the people will gain a better understanding of the paintings,raising the awareness of protecting the paintings.The research on display design is relatively mature in China.But there are rare Chinese exhibitions on architectural paintings,and with a weak foundation,the research on the display design of architectural painting art needs to be carried out further.The paper takes the display design of Xi’an Bell Tower architectural paintings as the research object,which is discussed in four chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background and research methods,which aims to find out the commonality of architectural heritage display design through the analysis of the current situation of architectural heritage display at home and abroad.The second chapter focuses on the current status of the protection of the bell towers in Xi’an and the architectural heritage,so as to conduct the targeted display design of the bell tower architectural paintings.The third chapter involves the exploration of the display design strategy of Xi’an Bell Tower architectural paintingart,that is,the discussion of the design principles and methods of the bell tower architectural paintings,with cultural,humanized,and participatory principles involved.The methods of the display design of bell tower architectural paintings are further studied,under the guidance of the principles,including scene reduction display,interactive experience display and multimedia display.The fourth chapter stresses on applying the research results of the architectural painting display design to the display design of Xi’an Bell Tower architectural paintings,which follows the principle that the theory is used to guide practice and practice is adopted to verify the feasibility of theoretical results.The paper aims at providing people with an easy access to architectural paintings,and meanwhile setting a good example for other architectural painting art exhibitions in the aspect of theoretical exploration,through the research on the display design of Xi’an Bell Tower architectural painting art.Besides,it plays an important role in displaying and disseminating the architectural painting art value,as well as in its inheritance and development..
