The Word Of Foxes With Extraordinary Ability "Post-Liao Zhai" Time

As the prosperous period of novels,Ming and Qing dynasties witnessed numerous excellent works and abundant sequels and imitations of novels.After the short and ghost novel with Chinese classical style Liao Zhai Zhi Yi,also known as Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio,written by Pu Songling was published,its imitations unceasingly sprung up.These imitations were developed centered on the original novel,forming the pattern of all stars twinkling around the bright moon.This paper names the classic Chinese novels influenced by Liao Zhai Zhi Yi after it until the end of Qing dynasty as "Post-Liaozhai" novels and names the fox images in "Post-Liaozhai" novels as foxes images with extraordinary ability.Regarding the images of foxes as study subject,this paper discusses from the building of foxes world,the satire of worldly affairs and artistic new changes and shortages of foxes images,compares foxes images in imitations and those in Liao Zhai Zhi Yi and finds out shining points of imitations in ideological connotations and artistic achievements as ways to summarize the creation rules of sequels and imitations of novels.The main body of this paper includes four chapters:The first chapter focuses on overall description of the novels of "Post-Liaozhai" and the images of foxes foxes images with extraordinary ability.Firstly it makes clear the concepts of sequels and imitations of novels and define "Post-Liaozhai" novels.Due to the large quantity of "Post-Liaozhai" novels,this paper limits and selects from influence,artistic achievements,ideological connotations and other aspects and mainly introduces the general condition of "Post-Liaozhai" novels and the authors.Then the chapter combs through the development history of foxes images since pre-Qin dynasty to Ming and Qing dynasties and the characteristics of foxes in every period.Finally this part selects eight "Post-Liaozhai" novels with many foxes and distinct artistry as discussion points.These eight novels includes but are not limited to Ying Chuang Yi Cao,Ye Tan Sui Lu,Ye Yu Qiu Deng Lu,Ying Tan,Yi Zhi Lu.The second chapter aims to concretely analyze,classify and conclude the foxes images with extraordinary ability in "Post-Liaozhai" novels.It comprehensively shows the foxes with extraordinary ability world in imitations from aspects of the forms,extraordinary abilities and characteristics of foxes and from static state to dynamic state.On the one hand,originating from the novel of Pu Songling,the foxes images with extraordinary ability in "Post-Liaozhai" novels mostly endow with the same characteristics and life habits;on the other hand,the foxes images with extraordinary ability also develop some new changes in a long era and elaborately demonstrate the exploration and pursuit of "Post-Liaozhai" novels to artistic expression.The third chapter puts particular emphasis on the allegory of worldly affairs through the foxes images with extraordinary ability in "Post-Liaozhai" novels.This part contrasts and analyzes the ideological connotations of "Post-Liaozhai" novels and Liao Zhai Zhi Yi from three aspects of criticizing the maladies of that time and calling out integrity and incorruptibility,satirizing worldly affairs and calling out humanity,corresponding to feudal ethical code and eulogizing love as a way to find out the shining points from foxes images with extraordinary abilitySetting foxes images with extraordinary ability as foothold,the last chapter contrasts "Post-Liaozhai" novels and Liao Zhai Zhi Yi and explores the artistic achievements of the former.The foxes images with extraordinary ability in "Post-Liaozhai" novels inherit Liao Zhai Zhi Yi to a large extent,imitating the original work to some extent from the images of fox girl and poetic language to the ways to portray fox images.But excessive imitation to original work is not always better and blindly pursuing novelty causes frequent malady of the deviation of narration center.However, "Post-Liaozhai" novels boasts its own new changes and unique characteristics so they can survive today rather than be submerged into the sea of books.
