Study Of The Boat Narration In The Novels During The Period Of Han Dynasty To Tang Dynasty

The period of Han dynasty to Tang dynasty was an important period from the budding to the flourishing of classical Chinese novels in China,and it was also a key period for the boat to be widely used and gradually entered into literary writing.As an ancient and traditional invention of the Chinese nation,the records of boat are scattered in historical books,prose,poetry,novels and travel notes of the past dynasties.For this reason,this article attempts to use the novels during the period of Han dynasty to Tang dynasty as the basic document to examine the chapters related to the boat,that is,to observe the novels during the period of Han dynasty from the perspective of the boat,starting from the types of stories,artistic methods,cultural implications and combining history.The research results of religion and culture,to explore the unique textual cultural features presented by the boats in the novels during the period of Han dynasty to Tang dynasty.The introduction part mainly explains the research object and determines the selection scope;combs the research present situation;introduces the research value and selects the suitable research method.The body consists of four chapters:In the first chapter,by combing and reading the texts involved,sorting out and analyzing the types of boats that appeared in the novels,summarizing their records in the novels during the period of Han dynasty to Tang dynasty,and dividing them into two categories according to their conformity with the logic of real life.The realistic boats are classified according to its function and form,so as to see the achievements of shipbuilding technology and the actual situation of boat travel.The fictional boats are focused on the description of its different functions and surreal materials,among which the study of magic bamboo raft and boat-like ferry is the most typical.The second chapter,starting from the story type of the text involved,summarizes it into three relatively fixed patterns,interprets the different types of plot composition and law in turn,and tries to analyze the hidden themes behind the various plots.Among them,the first model focuses on various realistic or unrealistic external risk factors encountered in the course of boat travel,which can be used to perform the shipwreck plot and reveal the hidden themes such as religion and folk belief behind the plot by exploring the deep causes of shipwreck and its rescue power.The second category,focusing on the analysis of mortal boat into a variety of different circumstances of the plot model,focusing on the boat abstract space traversing function,according to the different types of traversing space,the illusory space is divided into different types to complete the vertical and horizontal two directions of the concept of illusory space.The third category,focusing on the boat's internal space,that is,the boat carrying different characters through the boat born out of the story,boat not only as an open space into the scope of literary description,but also set up ghosts and gods to participate in it,according to the relationship between good and evil characters divided into two types,respectively,to discuss it.The third chapter focus on the value of the boat in the text from the perspective of artistic methods,and discusses the literary functions of the boat in the three aspects of character modeling,narrative art and aesthetic functions: in the aspect of character modeling,the relationship between the boat and characters,the role of traits,character mood and other aspects are discussed;the section of narrative art discusses from three aspects: narrative perspective,time and space;In the end,the narrative of the boat introduced the large space on the way into the literary vision,which made the novels transplant the aesthetic meaning of poetry in the scene layout.The fourth chapter,based on the "textual cultural connotation of the narrative of the boat," examines the boat's writing with the ancients' values and national psychology:firstly,it explores the religious origin of the shipwreck episode.Secondly,from the perspective of cultural studies,it reveals the realistic thinking and cultural significance of boats across different narrative spaces.Finally,it examines the folk customs and beliefs of the period of Han dynasty to Tang dynasty retained in boat narratives.To sum up,the narrative of the boat in the novels during the period of Han dynasty to Tang dynasty mainly starts from four parts,which have been mentioned above.This essay analyzes and studies boats in the novels during the period of Han dynasty to Tangdynasty.Plus,the general situation of boat's image,the text of different plot patterns,the artistic technique and the cultural implication respectively are discussed specifically to make a comprehensive analysis of this topic.
