| The main content of this paper is mainly around the relationship between the two aesthetic contents of "beauty" and "Ugliness".The first part of this paper mainly introduces the two major aesthetic contents of "beauty" and "Ugliness",which have been running through the history of calligraphy.They have both conflicts and can be harmoniously unified.To a certain extent,they represent "calligraphy" and "Stele Study",while the public usually like "beauty" and dislike "Ugliness",while in the eyes of professionals,"beauty" and "Ugliness" are equally important.So,how to choose between beauty and ugliness? In thinking about this question,I noticed the seal style of Guangdong style created by Huang Mufu,which has the style characteristics of "ancient method,new appearance,elegant artistic conception and beautiful appearance",which provided a powerful reference for my answer to this question,and also gave me inspiration and inspiration for my graduation work creation.In the second part of the article,the author elaborates the production process of graduation works series from five aspects: material selection,topic selection,seal manuscript design,manual carving and overall production.In the third part,I get my insights from my graduation series of works.First,I have a new understanding of how to choose between beauty and ugliness.The second is to realize that only a wide range of learning and inclusiveness can achieve the "new look of ancient methods". |
