The Narrative Exploration Of Chinese Characters

This article focuses on the study of the narrative nature of Chinese characters.Starting from the study of the original portrayal symbols,the narrative concept of the text is elicited.The text is limited to Chinese characters in this article.The narrative of Chinese characters includes text narrative and image narrative.Image narratives are mainly analyzed from the following three aspects: subjective narrative,works narrative and atmosphere narrative.In the end,the article explores the narrative nature of Chinese characters with the entry of the artist.The article focuses on the visual design and psychological connotation in the design of Chinese character fonts,and summarizes the construction of the narrative system in Chinese character font design.The narrative of Chinese characters is mainly embodied in four aspects: narrators,works,viewers and the environment.Explore the narrative features of Chinese characters from multiple angles of time,space,and material,and then analyze the cultural images embedded in the contemporary typeface design under the narrative visual form.Through these studies,it can be concluded that when designing a Chinese character font,designers should not only pay attention to the role of the event itself in recording events,but also seek to achieve emotional and cultural resonance with the viewer.
