Tibetan painting is one of the most important components in the history of Chinese art.Since the 1980 s,many artists have used traditional scenes in Tibetan areas to paint,or to express the simple, warm, and hospitable heart of Tibetans, including many fine art works that reproduce the grazing scene.Among the realist painters, the first artist to represent the grazing scene was the French painter Miller. After the 1980 s in China, the "Tibetan group paintings" created by Chen Danqing under the influence of realist paintings made local realism popular in the art world, and also brought unprecedented "Tibetan fever".The watercolor painters Guan Weixing and Liu Yunsheng also have excellent watercolor works representing Tibetan areas. They all went deep into the Tibetan area to experience the local life firsthand, and incorporated their sincere emotions into the works to create. The analysis of the characters, expressions, color treatments and emotional expressions of the above works brings some inspiration to the author. The creation report explained the author's life experience and emotional experience in Ganzi,Sichuan. In the life with the Tibetans, after having a certain understanding of the Tibetan customs and culture, they use this as an emotional source of creation, collect materials, and carry out creativeideas and practices. At the same time, based on the collection of a large number of Ganzi Tibetan character materials, select the character dynamics suitable for painting, and combine the Tibetan landscape and herd elements to create small drafts. The author discovered the main problems encountered through the creation of small drafts. The author mainly refers to the works of Guan Weixing,Dong Chunxi and Liu Yunsheng to solve the problems of the techniques and color of the picture. In the process of creation, the author made an in-depth summary of the picture atmosphere, character modeling, scene performance, color techniques and details processing of "Highland · Watch".The author realized that the true emotions are the guide and source of excellent creation, and also understood the combination of technique and art that should be paid attention to in the watercolor technique.Based on the images of Tibetan women, the author presents the scenes of herding life to express their firm belief in life to protect their homeland. At the same time, the author also reflects on the problems encountered in the creative process, including in-depth understanding of Tibetan culture, incomplete study of classic works, and insufficient overall control of the characters.I hope to continue to create watercolor characters in the future.China continues to work hard.
