The Expression Of Female Self-Awareness

To a certain extent,contemporary Chinese female art borrows from western feminist art,and its development is tortuous and long.In the history of art,women have long been in the position of object,that is,the artist is anonymous or a depicted object.Until the 1990 s,with the improvement of women's social status and the introduction of western feminist concepts,women began to seek independent “female consciousness” and self-social value.Female artists began to show female characteristics on the screen from the perspective of women themselves.Contemporary Chinese female artists connect women with flowers and nature,express women's physiology and experience,and,contrary to the traditional image of flowers,give “flower” another meaning.This paper is divided into four chapters,the first chapter from the traditional culture of women's ideas to the exploration of women's self-consciousness,and the traditional culture of flowers.The second chapter explores the“alternative” flower images of American female artisto 'keefe,and expounds the metaphorical meaning of her flower works.She goes against the previous way of observing flowers,and USES the perspective of women to magnify the flowers in the picture.O 'keeffe's flowers provide a different perspective for Chinese female artists,so that Chinese female artists' flowers also present a different vitality,such as CAI jin's bloody,sticky,passionate “canna” and li hong's colorful and sad “phalaenopsis”.The third chapter is the focus of this paper,the practical part of graduation creation.The author takes “flower” as the theme of graduation creation to express a feeling of “female self-consciousness”.In the creation,the author mainly USES the technique of comprehensive materials to explore the deliberate or accidental texture formation and resin experience,and at the same time expounds the characteristics of the comprehensive materials and how to use them.Comprehensive materials have a strong visual effect and impact.Selecting comprehensive materials in form for artistic creation can not only give full play to the potential of the creator,but also enable artistic works to show new scenes.The fourth chapter is the reflection and comprehension brought to the author by this creation.A good painting requires theintegration of creativity and emotion,as well as continuous exploration and summary of experience.Through the practice of the series of personal works “flower festival”,this paper combs and analyzes,making the author more clear about the direction of the next step.
