Zionism was born in the 19 th century.It was the thought of Western European Jewish intellectuals who lost their confidence in assimilationism under the impact of anti-Semitism.The main goal of the Zionist movement is to re-establish the Jewish national identity and cultural identity,and return to the land of Israel,establish a Jewish sovereign state.Guided by its ideology,European Zionists have joined in this movement to return to their homeland,Palestine.As a territory of the Ottoman empire,the wave of immigration and colonial construction destined for Palestine undoubtedly had a great impact on all sectors of the Ottoman empire.Different groups in the empire,governors of the Ottoman government,Jewish intellectuals and ordinary Jewish people of the Ottoman Empire,Arab Muslims and Christians,all reacted differently to the arrival of Zionism.In the collision of different ideas in the sphere of thought between Zionists and the Ottoman Empire,we can see the changing process of the imperial policy and the general public's mentality.This article intends to study the dissemination process of theZionist movement within the empire and the performance of Zionism in various circles in the late Ottoman Empire.And analyze the reasons behind the formation of this series of results and the impact on future generations.This article will examine this movement in chronological order.The first part is the early development process of Zionism in the Ottoman Empire and the pioneer of Zionist thought.Theodore Herzl's communication with the imperial government,and the ruling authorities' response to this politically ideological idea.The second part is about the contradictory and complex views of the ruling authorities and the imperial Zionists,and the rise of Zionism in the field of Ottoman public media,after the promotion of the universal concept of the "Ottomanism" of the new imperial government after the youth Turkish revolution Storm.The third part focuses on the relationship between the Arabs and the Zionists and even all the Jews after the revolutionary era,Then reveals the plight and opportunities of the Zionist movement from the Balkan War to the end of World War I.
