Since Wilhelm von Humboldt set reform in the Second Reich, the liberation and assimilation of Jew set a delight forward. The Jew get the Recognized citizenship and equal footing, which accelerated the Jew’s German integration. But in the imperial era, anti-Semitic still exits. The Jew leaves a negative impression to Most Germans as outsider. The outbreak of the First World War made German society fall into the fanatic condition. Irrational anti-Semitic fermented in the army and promoted by Germany’s defeat. The hidden anti-Semitic idea expands for looking scapegoat.The Weimar Republic opened a new era for the liberation of Jew in German, they participate in the development of the German society and play an important role in Weimar Germany’s political, economic, and cultural life. But anti-Semitic has not vanished, the article points in study the expression of it in Weimar German period. The paper tries to study the development of anti-Semitic with the Weimar Germany’s political and social environment as the background, and makes an effort to clarify development clues of German anti-Semitic to provide further explain of the emergence of the Nazi anti-Semitic tyranny.After research, the writer found that there is a direct contact between the developments of anti-Semitic and the improvement of Jew’s status. The release vigor of anti-Semitic shock the German society, the German society show the active response which make the anti-Semitic idea grows and show some different characteristics. In addition, The Weimar Republic was built in Modern democracy’s Philosophy who will not advocate the anti-Semitic. But one of the negative effects of Weimar democracy is the racist will not be punished when they advocate anti-Semitic. In the ruling of Nazi party, the anti-Semitic from out-party’s program become national policy. It is because the Weimar government miss power in counterbalance the radical anti-Semitism that not contain the worsen development of the anti-Semitic, leading to the tragedy of holocaust.
