With implementing of the new Curriculum standard(2017)of Senior English for China Students,more attention has been paid to the cultivation of students' subject core competencies.How to cultivate and improve students' subject core competencies in senior high school English teaching becomes significant.In other words,each teaching step ought to center around the cultivation of English subject core competencies of the students.The classroom teaching is a battle position in the reform of the curriculum,and teaching objective is the direction and guiding principle of classroom teaching activities.Designing teaching objectives is the essential task of teaching designing,which is also an important guarantee for effective classroom teaching.Teaching-learning-assessment alignment as a basic principle of effective teaching,is a kind of better teaching strategy that can fulfill the curricula standard of our country.It takes the teaching goal as the starting point,and finally achieves the teaching goal.The evaluation activity runs through the classroom teaching.Teaching-learning-assessment alignment thoroughly considers the problems of "why to teach","what to teach","how to teach",and "to what extent we should teach”.Based on this,this paper chooses teaching objectives aligned with teaching-learning-assessment consistency as the key research direction,combines it with the relevant research theories of Bloom's theory on taxonomy of educational objectives and reverse teaching theory,and combines it with senior high school English home teaching,using the literature research,questionnaire investigation,classroom observation,case analytical method and interviewing based on regular classes and open classes from in Zhengzhou Huimin Middle School.This paper makes an observation and research on the implementation of teaching objective designs in senior high school English teaching,probes into the problems presented in senior high school English teaching,and puts forward corresponding strategies to promote the development of teaching objectives based on the consistency of teaching-learning-assessment.Firstly,this paper gets to know the status quo of teaching objective designs of high school English teachers through questionnaire investigation.Based on the results,nine teachers are selected as subjects of interviews and case studies.Then the author observes the implementation of teaching objectives,teaching activities and teaching evaluation.After analyzing questionnaires and cases,the author sorts out the dilemma of current classroom teaching and finds that the lack of consistency in English classroom teaching is mainly reflected in three aspects.(1)Teaching objectives are unclear and unreasonable.(2)Teaching activities are not concerned with the teaching objectives.(3)Classroom assessments deviate from the teaching objectives.Then,in view of the above problems,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve teaching objectives from the perspective of teaching-learning-assessment.The design of teaching objectives are supposed to combine curriculum standards with teaching materials,students' learning actuality and some normative terms to describe the teaching results to be achieved.To achieve clear,measurable,and evaluable teaching objectives,the teaching objectives should be expressed by using the following terms step by step: the behavior objective,behavior performance,behavior condition and the degree of the performance.Moreover,Aiming at solving the disconnection between teaching activities and teaching evaluation and teaching objectives,this paper will try “reverse teaching design” method,that is to say,teaching objectives will be set according to the curriculum standards,teaching materials and students' learning actuality.Then according to teaching objectives,classroom assessments will be set.On the basis of these two,teaching activities will be designed.As a result,teachers' ability of classroom evaluation will be improved,which means experience-based teaching method will be transformed to curriculum-based teaching way.It can also promote teachers' professional development.At last,teaching-learning-assessment alignment provides an important helping hand to effective teaching,which can not only help teachers to carry out professional teaching,but also for students to achieve high quality learning.As the research of teaching-learning-assessment alignment-based on English teaching in senior high school focuses on solving of low efficiency in teaching reality,this paper holds the opinion that the consistency of target,teaching and evaluation can promote the setting of teachers' teaching objectives and add value to classroom learning effectiveness.Thus,the theoretical and practical exploration of promoting the consistency of target,teaching and evaluation is the inevitable trend of the development of effective classroom.
