| As a national fitness activity,square dance is not only a city leisure activity,but also a social space practice that helps urban residents to establish and improve urban social relations and enhance local identity.Square dance not only reflects the urban people’s needs for health and sports,but also reflects their spiritual needs to overcome loneliness and longing for social interaction under the impact of modernization.As a typical social field in modern cities,the square attaches,regenerates and derives a series of new social relationships,interpersonal relationships and human-land relationships.After the reform and opening up,with the development of society,on the one hand,the disintegration of the unit system and the intensification of social mobility led to the middle-aged and elderly people(the main components of the square dance group)gradually losing the original acquaintance community;on the other hand,after 50 and 60 The reduction of the children of one generation has led to the phenomenon of "empty nesting",and middle-aged and older people need social support outside the family.The emergence of social media is a new tool for the square dance group to quickly integrate into urban life,and a "binder" to enhance communication and communication between groups.Research on the use of social media and the alleviation of loneliness has shown that technical logic is likely to lead to a relatively clear trend in the change of loneliness in the real world: aggravation or elimination.So for the square dance group,is the use of social media aggravating or dispelling their loneliness? Based on the theory of "use and satisfaction",this paper studies the impact of the use of social media on individual loneliness,and uses questionnaires and in-depth interviews to explore the connection between individual loneliness of the square dance group and their use of social media.In the research process,this paper takes the individual loneliness of the square dance group as the starting point,studies the relationship between individual loneliness motive and social media use,and studies the square dance group from four aspects: family,social,emotional and seeking development.The influence of the use of social media on individual loneliness,and the analysis of the use of social media in the square dance group to predict the tendency of strategy choices to deal with loneliness,and finally analyze the differences in the use of social media by individuals with different loneliness.The survey results show that in the square dance group,individual loneliness motivation can predict the degree of social media usage to a greater extent.The stronger the loneliness motivation,the higher the use of social media.In addition,different loneliness motivations affect the way social media is used;those who share media information more when using social media are more likely to actively resolve their loneliness;passively use social media to receive information.Users are more likely to choose negative responses when dealing with loneliness.Analysis of the interview corpus shows that family and self-development are the two main motivations for social media use. |
