Research On Strategies And Methods Of Web Interface Design Based On Personality Traits

With the rapid development of the Internet,the impact of the network on society has already surpassed any technological revolution in history.The subject of network behavior is human,how to understand human scientifically and design from the perspective of human is the focus of current design research.Interface designers also have to re-examine the interface,an important vehicle that affects the user experience.It is from the perspective of people that this paper explores the preference of interface elements based on personality traits,and tries to prove that providing user groups with their personality traits can improve users-satisfaction and transmit information more efficiently.In this paper,the research mainly consists of the following aspects.Firstly,the data of big five personality traits were processed and analyzed by clustering analysis algorithm and the participants were divided into groups.Secondly,the association rule algorithm was used to produce the frequent items of the interface elements preference correlation.Thirdly,combining the page style derived from the similarity rule with the strong association rules of the page interface element preference,as a design strategy,the paper designed the interface scheme that satisfies the interface style and element preference of the groups with different personality traits.Finally,the interfaces designed for different personality trait groups were applied to the satisfaction test,and the effectiveness and feasibility of the interface design method based on personality trait were verified by comparing the data in the group.From the theoretical point of view,this paper is to some extent the improvement and innovation of the personalized interface design.The concept of personality trait is introduced into the study of the personalized interface design to optimize the accuracy and rationality of the design.What's more,this paper combines psychology,data mining and design in order to explore the correlation between personality traits and interface element preferences.From the practical point of view,the interface design method based on personality traits is proposed to help interface designers to have a better understanding of the users' personality traits inherent appeal,make the design more targeted,and provide guidance and reference for other design scenes that need to be oriented by personality traits.
