In the second half of the 20 th century,with the prevalence of multiculturalism in the Western world,a group of immigrant writers with multiple ethnic identities and cultural backgrounds entered the literary world,bringing an exotic atmosphere to the international literary community.As the winner of the 2017 Nobel Prize in Literature,Japanese-British writer Kazuo Ishiguro wrote a series of literary works that transcended the boundaries of nations and nations with his delicate strokes and deep emotional tension.He uses individual memory as the medium,and through metaphorical and allegorical writing,he explores the survival and development of human beings in the process of retrospect history and reflecting on the present.This thesis attempts to study the allegorical aesthetic characteristics of Kazuo Ishiguro's literary works based on western modern allegory theory,with the aim of presenting a new look of his novel text and explaining new thinking on his novel text.This article consists of the following sections:In the introduction,the current situation of the research on Kazuo Ishiguro of both domestic and overseas and the historical changes of western allegory theory are summarized,and the purpose and significance of the research are explained on this basis.The first chapter of the text explains the choice of the theme of the allegorical writing of Kazuo Ishiguro's novels.From the two aspects of Kazuo Ishiguro's choice of subject matter and thematic focus,the author has a multidimensional perspective on the historical retrospection of individual experience and the exploration of human survival paths.The second chapter of the text discuss the aesthetic presentation of the allegorical features of Kazuo Ishiguro's novels.Through specific analysis of the text,from the three dimensions of ambiguity,melancholy and fragmentation,analyze the allegorical aesthetic characteristics of his novel's polysemous text interpretation,broken aesthetic tone,melancholic emotional atmosphere,and the ultimate purpose of redemption.With a view to more accurately grasping the allegorical aesthetics of his work.The third chapter of the text explore the reasons for the allegorical features of Shikui Kazuo's novels.The thesis analyzes the roots of Kazuo Ishiguro's allegorical writing from three aspects: the complexity of self-identity in the context of multiple cultures,the sense ofcrisis in the process of modern social change,and the sense of mission of writers under the trend of internationalism.The concluding part summarizes the previous discussion,which summarizes and refines the aesthetic value and contemporary significance of Kazuo Ishiguro's allegorical writing.
