Moral judgment ability is a kind of moral practice ability for individuals to make necessary analysis and reasoning based on their own moral consciousness and concepts,to make right and wrong,good and evil,true and false factual judgments and value analysis It is also one of the important factors affecting social behavior.Since ancient times,morality has always been the focus of the Chinese nation.In recent years,the study of moral judgment has also received great attention and discussion,and has become a research focus of moral psychology.College students are the future and hope of the motherland,the main force for promoting social development and progress,and are related to the development and direction of the country and nation.At present,the moral judgment of some college students has problems such as disordered standards,blurred cognition,and weak emotions.Therefore,the moral status and development level of college students have also received widespread attention from the society.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between moral judgment ability,college students’ personality traits and prosocial behavior,and to further analyze whether moral judgment ability has a regulating effect on personality traits and prosocial behavior.According to the research results,corresponding education suggestions are put forward to promote the healthy development of college students.This study collected data from 958 college students using the simplified version of the Moral Judgment Test(MJT),Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ-RSC)and the Prosocial Tendency Scale(PTM)to collect data.The statistical analysis reached the following conclusions:(1)Significant differences exist in college students’ moral judgment ability in grades,only children,political appearance,and cadre positions;(2)There are significant differences in the personality traits of college students in gender,specialty,grade,birthplace,ethnic group,only child,religion,political outlook,cadre position,and father’s education level;(3)There are significant differences in the prosocial behavior of college students in gender,grade,birthplace,ethnicity,cadre position,father’s education level,and mother’s education level;(4)There is a significant positive correlation between psychoticism and moral cognition in moral judgment ability and nervousness in personality traits;(5)There was a significant negative correlation between the psychoticism of personality traits and the openness,anonymity,altruism,compliance,emotionality,urgency,and total pro-social score in pro-social behavior.There is a significant positive correlation between introversion-extroversion in personality traits,and openness,anonymity,altruism,emotion,urgency,and prosocial scores in prosocial behavior.There is a significant negative correlation between introversion-extroversion in personality traits and compliance in prosocial behavior;(6)There is a significant positive correlation between moral affection in moral judgment and openness,anonymity,altruism,compliance,emotion,urgency,and prosocial scores in prosocial behavior;(7)Moral affection and troversion-extroversion have positive predictive effects on prosocial behavior,psychoticism negatively predicts prosocial behavior;(8)Moral affection plays a moderating effect in the influence of psychoticism on prosocial behavior. |
