In the 1930 s,the social turmoil in China had reached the point of national peril,and the war was about to begin.Since Mr.Lu Xun launched the "Emerging Woodcut Movement",the anti-Japanese war arts,mainly woodcut art works in the liberated areas,have been closely linked to the cause of liberation of the Chinese nation.Literary youth from all over the country went to Yan'an to launch an artistic exploration of "serving the public".Yan'an woodblock prints are "an art that fits into modern China","the art of battle",and "the art of the masses".As an important part of the propaganda of Chinese revolutionary culture,they occupy an indispensable position in the history of Chinese art.It is also a brilliant art chapter in the history of world art in the 20 th century.Yan'an woodcut prints,by absorbing western expressionism and Chinese folk art forms,continue to explore and excavate artistic styles with national spirit and popular with the people.However,with the development of information technology,people 's value standards and spiritual beliefs are constantly being impacted by material culture,and the “spiritual value” needs to be reshaped.The Chinese culture represented by Yan'an woodcuts is exactly where China 's national spirit and national beliefs lie.The visual dissemination and development of Chinese culture is the current spiritual development needs of society,and it is also China's active exploration of cultural self-confidence on the road to the rise of a great power.Secondly,the spread of Yan'an woodcuts can no longer keep up with the development of the information age.Yanan woodcuts still follow the traditional design and communication concepts,and even the excessive use results in the homogeneity of the design,which leads to the status of the audience “not knowing”.The spread of Yan'an woodblock prints by the media in the era has become an important issue for the spread of the Red Revolutionary culture.This thesis takes Yanan woodcut prints from 1937 to 1949 during the Anti-Japanese War as the research object,and takes digital communication as a new era subject as the theoretical support.The research method is mainly based on the communication method,and the new media is used as the medium.And the Yan'an woodcut arts is examined with arts,history,and sociology,the national characteristics of Yan'an woodcut prints in a specific period is comprehensively analyzed.This thesis first places Yanan woodcut prints in a contemporary context,explores the significance and value of Yanan woodcut prints in contemporary communication,;analyzes the audience 's perception of red culture and art.Further,the visual communication strategy of red culture and art represented by woodcut prints in the era of highly developed digital technology is built up.The final part is the consideration of the practical application of the development of Yanan woodcut prints in the new era.The purpose of this thesis is to provide reference-oriented spread strategies for the Yan'an woodcut prints and red culture and art in the new era.It will shed light on the research on the spiritual value and aesthetic connotation of Yan'an woodcut prints.Through the research of this article,we explore the core of contemporary national values of Yan'an woodcut prints,practice the spirit of Yan'an in the new era,interpret the purpose of art to serve the people with science and technology innovation,spread the spirit of patriotism,strengthen cultural self-confidence,and promote the core values of socialism.
