Drum ballad in Wenzhou is a traditional Chinese folk Chinese folk art forms,which has a hundred years of history.In the new historical period,Collecting the history of drum ballad of Wenzhou is the only way to obtain the new historical orientation and development trend of this ancient Chinese art form.With the approval that the State Council included the drum ballad in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list in 2006,the study on the art of Wenzhou drum ballad has gradually shown the characteristics of diversified development,especially the study on the differentiation of Wenzhou drum ballad school art.Ruan Shichi,as a representative inheritant of Wenzhou drum ballad,a national intangible cultural heritage project in China,is a lifelong achievement of Chinese folk art form of the China federation of Literature and Arts.He was once received by Zhou Enlai,Dong Biwu and other state leaders.Among the Wenzhou drum ballad art schools,Ruan school,represented by Ruan shichi,is one of the oldest schools in the history of all schools,with the most significant artistic style and the most outstanding contributions.For such a school of art which has a profound influence on the development of Wenzhou drum ballad,it is of great significance to study its academic theory.From the perspective of Wenzhou drum ballad' s melody and under the guide of national musicology methodology as the theory,this thesis draws lessons from Chinese music history,analysis of the music forms,music linguistics analysis and other disciplines' contents,eighty years of artistic career of Ruan Shichi is clearly collected and taken out,in order to clarify the historical development and artistic value of Ruan school's music forvoices in a the drum ballad,and to provide an empirical teaching and academic outlook for the current construction of drum ballad school in Wenzhou.There are eight chapters in this thesis.The introduction mainly explains the reason,objective and significance,research status,research methods and innovation of this paper,and defines the related terms of Wenzhou drum ballad,so as to carry out the follow-up discussion smoothly.Chapter one discusses the vocal art represented by Ruan Shichi in the historical development of drum ballad in Wenzhou.This chapter traces back the formation history of Wenzhou drum ballad,that is,the development history of Chinese folk art form and the development history of Wenzhou drum ballad.In addition,Ruan Shichi's artistic life is stated and analyzed from two aspects of artistic career and artistic achievements.Chapter two is the analysis and comparison of the linguistic of drum ballad in Wenzhou represented by Ruan Shichi.This chapter firstly sorted out the libretto structure and creation methods of Ruan school's vocalizations,and then illustrated the initial consonant and simple or compound vowel of a Chinese syllable in the dialect by referring to the methods of morphology and linguistics.Thus,the overall features of the Ruan school's vocalizations are summarized.Chapter three discusses the musical form characteristics and analyzes the musical form characteristics of drum ballad represented by Ruan Shichi in Wenzhou.Besides,This chapter analyzes and deconstructs the musical form characteristics of Ruan school's vocal art from four levels: mode and tonality,structure and mode of melody,structure and comparison,and convergence and embellishment.Chapter four studies the relationship between the libretto language and vocal music of drum ballad in Wenzhou represented by Ruan Shichi,focusing on the analysis of the relationship among words,tone,and rhythm,so as to restore the compatibility of the relationship between words and music of Ruan school.On the basis of summarizing the theoretical experience of the first three chapters,and combining the theoretical logic of the language,music and the relationship between lyricsand music,the fifth chapter makes a case analysis of the classic of Ruan school's vocal,Pan Fu,in order to summarize the relationship between the libretto and the vocal music in Ruan school's singing art.Chapter six explores the aesthetic characteristics of Wenzhou drum ballad of Ruan school,which takes the richness of words and tunes,flexible movements,vivid expressions,clear articulation,and deep emotion as the starting point.It extracts the unique aesthetic artistic connotation of the Ruan school's singing art.Chapter seven is a theoretical summary of the cultural significance of Ruan school's drum ballad in Wenzhou.Starting from the artistic contributions that Ruan Shichi made,this chapter discusses the art value of the folk art form represented by Ruan.It also makes a theoretical analysis from four aspects,which are helpful to enrich the artistic development of Wenzhou drum ballad school,promote the dissemination of cultural value of Wenzhou drum ballad and strengthen the diversification of artistic forms of it,and even construct the inheritance education system of it.What's more,the development of the singing art of drum ballad in wenzhou represented by Ruan is analyzed at the same time.In chapter eight,inheriting experience and the current difficulties are concluded,based on the analysis of the status quo of the inheritance and protection of Wenzhou drum ballad,for which corresponding protection suggestions and measures are put forward.The conclusion is an attempt to summarize the artistic characteristics of the drum ballad in Wenzhou represented by Ruan Shichi through the study summary of the previous eight chapters,and to explore the basic rules and characteristics of the schools in the history of its art development,so as to provide theoretical support and reference for the development of drum ballad in Wenzhou in the new period.Through the exploration and research of the eight chapters of writing in the above-mentioned chapters,this thesis summarizes the art of Ruan school's vocalizations as follows: with the gentle and delicate singing music,the clear and elegant singing language,the vivid movement and expression,the graceful and soft,implicit and open-minded aesthetic characteristics,it has formed a delicate and unique style in Wenzhou drum balladart.Therefore,we should double cherish the artistic value of its creation,fully realize its own artistic charm under the guidance of the concept of living state inheritance and scientific protection,so that it can stay in the history of Wenzhou drum ballad art development,as well as in the hearts of the people.
