| Simultaneous interpretation is widely used at international conferences because it can timely convey the information.However,as simultaneous interpretation,being a one-time event and a stressful job,involves different expertise,it has become a challenging task.Every year,Google holds the Developer Conference to introduce the new features of its technology products.This report uses the video of Google 2019 Developer Conference as the material for simulated simultaneous interpretation.It is divided into four parts.Chapter One is a brief introduction to the task,its background implementation.Chapter Two is the theoretical basis,which summarizes Gile's An Effort Model of Simultaneous Interpreting and Triangle Mode of interpretive theory.Chapter Three involves case analysis and simultaneous interpretation strategies.By following the theories in Chapter Two and combining the interpretation cases,the author analyzes the problems in the practice and find out methods to improve listening and interpretation accuracy.Chapter Four is the summary of the practice.Factors like language skills,professional knowledge and interpretation skills are analyzed.The significance of this report is to find out improved methods to serve the translation practice in the future through theoretical analysis and case study,and to provide some references for interpreters who receive interpretation training and are engaged in related work. |
