Mysterious Culture And Historical Narrative In White Deer Plain And Shan Ben

Originated in ancient times,the Chinese mysterious culture,an integral part of folk traditional culture,has an impact on people's thinking mode to understand and explain the world and runs through the development of literary creation.Separately written by the Chinese authors Zhongshi Chen and Pingwa Jia,White Deer Plain and Shan Ben,the representative historical narrative text after the 1990 s,involve the history lasting at least a dozen years and even up to half a century,both of which turn the perspective to the family and village and add folk life and mysterious culture to the literary works.As a result,the narrative mode and historical concept of the "17 years" traditional realism historical narrative text has been subverted.This dissertation can be divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,which respectively introduces the research status of White Deer Plain and Shan Ben,as well as the research purpose and significance of this dissertation.The second part consists of three chapters,which is the main part of this article.Based on the specific details of the novels White Deer Plain and Shan Ben,the first chapter analyzes the influence of the mysterious culture on the shaping of characters,the description of storylines as well as the changes of historical concepts so as to construct a legendary history that is different from the past.To be more specific,the living character images have been shaped by the characters of good and evil,falseness and mystery,which reflects the writer's view on human nature,morality and value.The non-political folk historical content,absurd and vailed in the past,gradually surfaced,of which the belief of ghosts actually shows another field of the human mind world,revealing the cultural and psychological structure of the Chinese nation;The chance,cycle and multi-faceted nature of historical development disassembled the traditional concepts of historical inevitability,singularity and linear development.The above shows the understanding and application of the new historical concepts and narrative methods explored by White Deer Plain and Shan Ben.Relied on the analysis of some typical mysterious images of the novels and the collection of the folk resources,the second chapter explores the influence of mysterious culture on historical secrecy and richness character.The mysterious imagery closely relates to the fate of the characters and historical trend,which expands the narrative perspective of the novel,thus gives birth to a new way of judging and evaluating history.Although Zhongshi Chen and Pingwa Jia are both Writers of Shanxi Province,due to the regions they lived is different and what they have seen and heard is also different,thus,they develop different and distinctive cultural mentalities.From this perspective,the mysterious culture appears in the text and forms different dimensions with rich history,which shows a diversified Chinese image.The third chapter mainly starts from narrative aesthetics and the intervention of mysterious culture,which makes White Deer Plain and Yamamoto present a situation of coexistence of realism and fiction.To a certain extent,it dispels the objective realism of traditional realism and has the characteristics of "epic" and "legend" respectively.The third part is the conclusion of the article.On the basis of summarizing the previous,it further summarizes the role of mysterious culture in the historical narration in White Deer Plain and Shan Ben.Based on the text perspective of White Deer Plain and Shan Ben,this dissertation analyzes the mysterious culture functioned as a kind of folk resource presents in the historical narrative text and runs through the fate of the characters,civil society and national development in the novels,which evokes the feelings about history,life and society and at the same time transforms the historical view of development as well as adds the richness of historical novels.Therefore,on this dimension,White Deer Plain and Shan Ben have an important position and guiding significance in the history of literature.
