Yao Guangxiao is a famous politician,Buddhist and litterateur at the end of yuan and the beginning of Ming Dynasty.In his early years,Yao Guangxiao made good friends with Gao Qi,Yang Ji,Zhang Yu,Xu Ben,etc.and participated in the "Beiguo Poetry Society" initiated by Gao Qi,which was called one of the "ten friends of Beiguo" by later generations.He is proficient in Buddhism,and is a representative of the pure land clan.He has written such Buddhist works as the theory of the immortality of Dharma,the chant of the masters of all kinds,and the Daoyu record.He is also good at poetry,and now has ten volumes of the poetry collection of escaping Xu Zi,five volumes of the manuscript of escaping Xu category,and five volumes of the sequel of the collection outside the nunnery.Yao Guangxiao had a very high position in the early Ming Dynasty,but because he defended Buddhism,refuted Zhu Xi of Er Cheng,and helped Zhu Di,the king of Yan,usurp the throne,he caused the dissatisfaction of later scholars,and his literary thoughts and historical contributions were buried in the dust of history with the passage of time.Under the historical background of the late Yuan Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty,this paper takes Yao Guangxiao as the research object,and tries to explore his rich poetic theory.The first chapter focuses on the analysis of Yao Guangxiao's life experience,and explores the specific connotation of his Buddhist and Confucian thoughts.Yao Guangxiao's life experience is very complex,so it is necessary to briefly discuss his life experience from childhood to old age,outline his life trace,and clarify his complicated life choice.On this basis,it analyzes the specific connotation of his thoughts on Confucianism and Buddhism,and expounds the unique significance of his thoughts on Confucianism,Buddhism and communication,so as to lay a foundation for later literature criticism.The second and third chapters are the main part of the thesis,focusing on Yao Guangxiao's Poetics and literary theory,and analyzing the specific connotation of his poetic theory.Yao Guangxiao has rich thoughts of literary criticism,but these thoughts are scattered in his poems.Therefore,the second chapter tries to build a relatively complete system to reflect Yao Guangxiao ' Under the influence of Shi Huitong's thought,Yao Guangxiao expounded the unique connotation of "the relationship between poetry and Taoism" and advocated "containing Taoism in poetry";in the theory of poetry creation,it is necessary to clarify his thought of "learning from the ancient times",as well as the specific connotation of "true feelings","poetic interest","feeling things" and "implication";finally,he discussed his understanding of "Satire" and clarified the unique connection between Zen and poetry.The third chapter mainly analyzes Yao Guangxiao's literary theory.In the understanding of the relationship between literature and Taoism,Yao Guangxiao attached great importance to the role of literature,thought that literature is the tool of carrying Taoism,advocated that literature runs through the Tao,and attached importance to the unity of literature and Taoism;in the theory of article creation,Yao Guangxiao attached great importance to the unity of talent and diligence,emphasized the importance of "travel" and "rules and regulations",and attached great importance to human experience;most importantly,Yao Guangxiao passed the“ The discussion of the words with words and the words without words properly resolves the contradiction between Buddhism's words without words and writings.The conclusion part mainly analyzes the uniqueness and value of Yao Guangxiao's poetry theory.First of all,it expounds the uniqueness of Yao Guangxiao's theory of poetry and prose from the perspectives of its inclusiveness,practicality and sociality.Combined with the history of that time,through combing some of Gao Qi's works,this paper analyzes the value of Yao Guangxiao's poetry theory from three aspects: the criticism of emotion oriented poetry style at the end of the Yuan Dynasty,the alleviation of the contradiction between Confucianism and Buddhism,and the influence on Beiguo's Poetry creation.In short,this paper selects Yao Guangxiao,a poet monk in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty,as the research object,first from his life experience,then analyzes the specific connotation of his Buddhist and Confucian thoughts,finally focuses on the specific connotation of his poetic theory,clarifies the uniqueness and value of his literary thought,strives to fully display his poetic theory and thoughts,and takes a brief look at the literary world in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty from the unique perspective of monks The whole style of poetic style.
