A Preliminary Stud On The Educational Thought Of Children In Book Of Rites

Human beings are facing a fundamental crisis,which is manifested as nihilism in the field of spiritual culture.The only way for China which is a country with an ancient civilization is to renew its traditional culture with Confucianism as its core.No matter in history or in theory,children's education is an important aspect of self-renewal of Confucian culture.Book of Rites is the first Confucian classics to systematically discuss children's education,so it is of fundamental theoretical significance to study its children's education thoughts.Problems and challenges of actual children's education give this study a profound practical significance.The thought of children's education in Book of Rites is a part of its thought about how to be a sage,so this paper first study the thought about how to be a sage of this book.This paper puts forward the core concept of "feeling in one",which is of great benefit to the understanding of Confucianism,especially its emotional theory.This paper then systematically and deeply study the children's education thoughts of Book of Rites,including education goals,education contents,education principles and methods.Then puts them into the thought about how to be a sage of this book to reveal its profound points,points out its basic position in the thought about how to be a sage of this book.This paper then study the development,expansion and improvement of children's education thought in the book of rites in the later times,in order to further understand the potential connotation of children's education thought in Book of Rites,and more fully understand the tradition about children's education of Confucian which was initiated by Book of Rites,so as to provide a more solid ideological basis for solving the current practical problems and challenges in the field of children's education.At last,this paper practically apply the children's education thought of Book of Rites.This paper analyzes on the lack of "learning for real oneself" in the field of actual children's education,discusses the movement of children's Bible reading,and points out the challenges caused by information society faced by actual children's education.Through the in-depth analysis of these practical problems,and then compare it with the thought of Book of Rites,showing the essence of these problems and the Enlightenment of Book of Rites.
