Eisner’s thought on art education is one of the typical thoughts of "Essence Theory".Compared with "instrumental theory",it pays more attention to the study of the structure of the art discipline itself,advocates rigorous art curriculum,and realizes the value of art education.Eisner’s art curriculum includes art criticism,historical and cultural knowledge,and pays attention to teachers’ influence on students’ art education.Eisner’s art education theory,as a theory that has an important influence on the development of art education in the world,has great reference significance for the development of children’s art education curriculum in China.Based on this,this paper studies the origin of Eisner’s art education thought and its enlightenment to Chinese children’s art education.The main research contents are as follows:In the introduction part,the research background and significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods and innovation points are introduced.The first part elaborates the three contributions of Eisner’s art education thought,which are the value theory and education theory of art education,the curriculum view of art education and the teaching view of art education.The second part,discusses the eisner art education thought the era background and thought origin,ideological origin aspect is mainly based on the theory of "tool" and representative,"essentialism" and representative research analysis,and discusses the theory of"tool" of the cause of the decline and the rise of "essentialism",expounds the origin of the eisner art education thought;The third part contrasted and analyzed the similarities and differences between Eisner’s art education thought and Rohnfeld’s art education thought.Through comparison,deepen the understanding and understanding of the two kinds of art education thoughts,summarize their advantages and disadvantages;The fourth part,combined with the current situation of China’s children’s art education,the existing problems of China’s children’s art education were analyzed,on this basis,the analysis of Eisner’s art education thought to China’s children’s art education enlightenment,in order to help and reference to China’s children’s art education.The conclusion part summarizes and looks forward to the whole paper.Through the research of Eisner’s art education thought,this paper can expand the research vision of Chinese children’s art education,enrich the theory of Chinese children’s art education,improve the theoretical system of children’s art education,and provide theoretical support for the implementation of Chinese children’s art curriculum.At the same time,it has important enlightenment and guiding significance for transforming the concept of Chinese children’s art curriculum,perfecting the implementation of Chinese childrens art curriculum and optimizing the curriculum evaluation system.
