Compared with the traditional painting,the image narration in the contemporary painting has produced the huge difference.This paper focuses on the contemporary painting image narrative mode,with a diachronic research and case analysis,in-depth analysis of the reasons behind this change.The first chapter mainly introduces the background of this study,classifies and summarizes the related literature about image fragmentation narrative,and briefly explains the purpose and basic content of the study.Generally speaking,the study of image fragmentation narrative has a lot of room to expand in the field of contemporary painting compared with literature,film and television and illustration.The core of the second chapter is the study of the traditional painting image narrative way in the western art history,mainly using a diachronic way to comb.Through the transformation of image narrative mode in the western traditional painting period,several key periods are divided by stages.The first stage is from medieval painting to classical painting to before impressionist painting.The second stage is from impressionist painting to the whole modernism painting.At the same time,it also uses simple words to describe the characteristics of image narrative in Chinese traditional painting A supplementary explanation is given.In the study of art history,it is found that although there are obvious differences in the logic of drawing making between the two stages,a one-dimensional narrative mode of "grand narrative" logic is highlighted in the logic of image narrative.The third chapter,as the research focus of the whole article,is divided into two aspects to demonstrate the cause and effect of image fragmentation narrative in contemporary painting.On the one hand,from the perspective of theoretical basis,it is found that the emergence of deconstruction,an important ideological theory in postmodernism,has completely broken the limitations of the one-dimensional and single style of image narration in western traditional painting,and has a great impact on the multi-style and multi-form fragmented narrative features in postmodern painting,which also continues to affect contemporary painting In the picture.On the other hand,it mainly focuses on the case study of contemporary artists,the case analysis and the classification of the artist's fragmented image narrative logic,further in-depth analysis of the composition logic of the fragmented image narrative in the whole contemporary painting.The fourth chapter starts from the influence of image fragmentation narrative on individual creative practice,and combs the whole logical thinking of individual creative practice from the background of topic selection,creative way,form of composition,image selection,and analysis of specific works.In the conclusion part of the fifth chapter,the author expounds the importance of image narrative research in the contemporary society,and through the further analysis of the image fragmentation narrative in the contemporary painting,puts forward the personal worries about the image narrative characteristics in the future research in the contemporary painting.
