On The Construction And Expansion Of Image Narration In Contemporary Painting

In the cultural context of contemporary art,the image narrative mode of contempora ry painting is significantly different from that of traditional painting in terms of painting t heme,painting language and painting standpoint.With the continuous expansion of the narrative function of images in the current artistic creation,the knowledge systems o f various disciplines and fields are involved in the painting,which enriches the image narrative mode that plays a significant role in the painting,and continuously pr omotes the development of painting.At the same time,the practice of image narration m akes people reflect on the truth of reality and strive to expand the structure behind the rea l events and images.This paper is,based on the background,the analysis of the contemp orary image narrative function intervened by other disciplines in the works of artists like Gerhard Richter,William kentridge,qiu xiaofei and mine,to find and analyze the possibi lity of different image narrative methods in painting.Exploring the ductility and idealogy can avoid the traditional narrative mode and reduce the simplification in the process of using images.Comprehensive consideration makes it possible to incorporate the author's feelings and thoughts during the process,and the audience interaction increases the social and artistic value of the image.
