| Xu bojian was an important poet and calligrapher in Chongqing in the 20 th century.Due to the limitation of region,identity and other factors,contemporary calligraphers or calligraphic theorists have not paid due attention to him.The "bass" refers to people and things that are easily ignored,seemingly unimportant or marginalized.This paper will reexamine the Debate on the Lanting xu in order to find out the more complicated details of this case and its influence on scholars,especially those who are more marginalized like Xu bojian.Therefore,this paper discusses through four parts.The first part mainly discusses the possibility of micro-perspective research on the Debate on the Lanting xu by investigating the activities or ideas of some scholars in the Debate on the Lanting xu that are not well known.Section one of the second part analyzes Xu bojian’s argumentation essay Wang and Xie’s epitaph is insufficient evidence of Lanting xu out of false trust,and compares this essay with other scholars of the same period to investigate its gains and losses.The second section investigates the influence of the Debate on the Lanting xu on Xu bojian and reveals the Lanting xu preface complex.In the third part,by investigating the views of Pan boying,Shen yinmo,Zhang shizhao and Li tianma on Lanting xu and their communication with Xu bojian,we can see their consensus attitude towards this work.The fourth part is based on Xu bojian’s copy of Lanting xu,his study and study of two Wang and his participation in the collection of literati to see his Lanting xu complex.Through the elaboration of these four aspects,we can know more clearly the attitude of the literati scholars under the influence of the complex event of the Debate on the Lanting xu,and the special significance of Lanting xu itself in the new period.Especially through the case study of Xu bojian,we can understand that Lanting xu not only as a calligraphy model,but also as a symbol of cultural value,in the course of Xu bojian’s life played an unusual role,but also shaped his complex social relations. |
