English teaching plays an important part in primary school.However,it is found that there are still some problems in English teaching,such as ignorance of listening and speaking training,weaker phonetic teaching,single teaching method and so on.To solve these problems,at present,mixed teaching may be one of choices.In education informationization era,mixed teaching mode is prevailing,different levels of mixed teaching exploration have been carried out in different educational stages and different subjects.With the development of economy,there are equipment supporting mixed teaching in rural-urban fringe region,but it has not been fully used.As educational informationization era entered from 1.0 to 2.0,higher requirements are put forward for the mixed teaching mode.In order to make full use of equipment,improve the quality of education and teaching and promote educational informationization.The thesis,based on the current situation of English teaching in local primary schools and previous research,designed a mixed English teaching mode of primary school and verified its effect through empirical methods,which will provide some reference for the development and improvement of the mixed teaching mode.The Research selected a primary school in rural-urban fringe region of Xinxiang City,Henan Province.Questionnaire and interview were used to investigate the current situation of their English teaching.It is found that the primary school students' English learning methods are mainly offline learning,learning interest is low and learning motivation are mainly extrinsic motivation,the teacher assessment methods are mainly based on test scores.Based on the results of investigation and the theory of constructivism teaching,cognitivism teaching and behaviorism teaching,the research designed the mixed English teaching modein primary school and explained the mode from teaching practice and ass-essment.The thesis also took the fifth grade teaching of the primary school as an example and took a semester to apply the mixed English teaching mode.It is found that: Firstly,the mixed English teaching mode of primary school can improve students' overall English performance;Secondly,the mixed English teaching mode of primary school can stimulate students' interest in learning English to a large extent;Thirdly,the mixed English teaching mode of primary school can help primary school students to diversify their English learning methods;Fourthly,the mixed English teaching mode of primary school can make the assessment method more scientific.Based on the results of investigation and mixed teaching practice,the following conclusions are drawn: Firstly,mixed teaching can make up for some problems in the traditional teaching mode;Secondly,mixed teaching mode can stimulate students' enthusiasm in English learning.Finally,the research puts forward the following suggestions: Firstly,to adapt to the needs of the times and improve the awareness of application;Secondly,to improve theoretical competence and integrate theory into practice;Thirdly,to train information technology and master practical skills;Fourthly,to strengthen economic support and improve teaching equipment.
