The new round of English curriculum reform emphasizes the importance of school's English classes.But in reality,the situation of advanced learning has a certain impact on the status of English class in the school.Primary school students'extra-curricular advanced learning refers to students study something beyond the levels provided by Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition),which they will learn at school in the future.Know how.In view of the differences of English tutoring institutions chosen by primary school students,the quality and progress of their advanced learning is also different.So it is vital to find how does extra-curricular advanced learning of English influence English classes in school and how should teachers and students use these influences to improve the effectiveness of English classes in schools.The purpose of this study is to find out the positive and negative effects of advanced learning of English on English classes in school,and to explore strategies to avoid negative influences and stress positive influences to improve the quality of English classes in school.Therefore,this study selects the third grade of N City D Elementary School as a sample.From the perspectives of teachers and students who are learning English in advance in the tutoring institutions,this study collects data through the methods of issuing questionnaires and one-on-one interviews with teachers and students.According to the analysis of the data,we can see the proportion of students who are currently participating in extra-curricular English advanced learning in the total number of students surveyed,and we can try to determine the advanced level of primary school English learning.We can also explore the relationship of extra-curricular English advanced learning and learning English in school.Combined with observations,the main negative impacts are as follows:it is not conducive to the fairness of classroom teaching;it is not conducive to the development of students' good listening habits;it is not conducive to the construction of ideal teacher-student relationship.However,from the research,we can find that extra-curricular English advanced learning may have positive impacts on English classes in school,which is conducive to cultivating students' learning ability and thinking quality,and enhancing their self-confidence in English learning.This study believes that as long as students can fully recognize the value of English classes in school,and treat English advanced learning in a rational way.Besides,students should regard the latter as an auxiliary means of English learning,so they will get improvement of their English learning.Moreover,teachers and students should correct their attitude of English classes in school,try to make full use of school resources to create an English learning environment,and improve the quality of English classes in school,thus they will prevent the negative impact of extra-curricular English advanced learning...
