With the vigorous development of China's film market,the development of domestic suspense films is also booming.It not only has achieved outstanding results in the film market,but also explores the complexity of society and humanity from different aspects.Since the new century,the domestic suspense film has used its unique symbol system to focus on the suspense setting and the symbolic expression process of its narrative meaning,and reveals the rich connotation of this type of film.Under the theoretical framework of film semiotics,the domestic suspense film in the new century is taken as the research object.Firstly,the first film semiotic narrative theory is used to study the narrative symbols,and through the "Eight major combination segment" theory(by Metz),the lens symbols and ideographic ways of making suspense in the new century domestic suspense film are grasped as a whole.According to the summary of this direction,the domestic suspense film in the new century has shaped the relationship between justice,evil and aphasia in the narrative symbol.It specifically shows the savior of wise justice,the perpetrator of human alienation,and the weakness of aphasia.The victim waits for three types of character symbols,and spreads suspense on the characters through the plot arrangement;on the other hand,through different lens combinations,the audience is led to clarify the suspense variation in the film,such as the suspense combination through the lens brackets.The truth in the story,using the description of the combination of items to explain the origin of the film suspense,and then use the parallel combination of items to express multifaceted narrative.In addition,the new century domestic suspense film has attracted more and more viewers through its increasingly mature suspense setting and complex narrative.Under this narrative,the ideographic characteristics of the suspense film are revealed.From the perspective of the second film semiotics,it shapes a multi-miracle "suspended dream" to stimulate the audience's nerves,in order to achieve the satisfaction and relaxation of the audience's mind;and through the multi-faceted depiction of the reality picture,as if The mirror projects the human emotions such as the emotional entanglement of men and women in the new era,the "empty nest elderly" and other social problems,collective aphasia and individual heroism.Today,although the domestic suspense film is getting more and more elaborate,it has gained a good reputation and box office,but it has not yet reached internationalstandards.Therefore,the pursuit of higher art and production standards is an eternal development direction.
