"Poetry Preface" refers to an explanatory text placed before the poems of Mao Shi,mainly to explain the subject, author and era of each poem.Since ancient times, the debate on the Preface to Poetry has never stopped. The anti-sequential movement was the most intense in the Song Dynasty and the Republic of China.Although the anti-sequential movement in the Qing Dynasty was not as prominent as in the Song Dynasty and the Republic of China,it also has unique characteristics as a transitional period from the past to the future. This paper sorts out the history of the anti-sequence movement by combing the author's views on the "Poetry Preface" in each period, and finally analyzes the characteristics of the reverse movement in each era.The paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter: The suspicion of the "Poetry Preface"-the Song Dynasty, introduces the rise and development of the anti-sequence movement in the Song Dynasty. The second chapter: the revival of the "Poetry Preface" doubts-the late Qing Dynasty, analyzed the characteristics of the refutation and movement of the "Poetry" in the late Qing Dynasty under the new social conditions. The third chapter: Against the new atmosphere of the "Poetry Preface" trend of thought-during the Republic of China,a detailed introduction to the situation of the "Poetry Preface" of the Republic of China was made.In the last chapter, the anti-Poetry movement in the Republic of China was compared with the anti-sequential movements of the Song Dynasty and the late Qing Dynasty. The scope of the anti-sequential movement of the Republic of China is different from other eras, jumping out of the scope of the study of the Confucian classics. The study shifted from the study of Confucianism to the study of literature.
