A Research Into "Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu"

“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”is a Qin monograph contains of Qin making,fingering,Qin law,composing and other contents about the Qin thoery,which was written by Zhu Fengjie,a Fujian musician,in the 5~thh year of Xianfeng(1855).There are about 120,000words in the book“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”,covering a wide range of Qin studies.The research on it,however,is quite limited.Any papers had mentioned it were quite few,let alone special studies on the“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”By means of literature analysis,reasoning emendation,and comparison analysis,this paper deals with“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”,tries to sort out and analyse the background of the book,the content,the relationship of“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”between"Chun-cao-tang Qin-pu"and"Introduction to Qin learning",in order to find out music theory of Zhu Fengjie and the value of“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”.It is preliminary believed that,good education of Zhu Fengjie,and the solid foundation of the Qin culture in the nort h Fujian,helped to accumulate rich theory foundation in his writing“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pui”,on the other hand,the rich family background helped Zhu Fengjie to devote hi mself to the study of Qin,which provided material base for“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”.Comparing with other Qin books in the Qing dynasty,“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”is somewhat innovative in teaching theories such as the analysis and teaching theory of the thoughts and tunes for the production of Musical Instruments.It has many relationships with“Chun-cao-tang Qin-pu”and“An Introduction to Qin Theory”.“Chun-cao-tang Qin-pu”is one of the most important sources which the music thoughts in“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”was developed from,“An Introduction to Qin Theory”,by the way,is a further exploration and practice to the theory in“Yu-gu-zhai Qin-pu”.
