Research On The "reality" Performance Of The Cutting Skills In Woodblock Prints Summary

As the soul of woodblock prints,the cutting skills are the most direct connection between the artist and the work.It is the artistic language in which the artist portrays the image and expresses the emotion.In the course of the development of woodblock prints,one has another peak with the characteristics of the times.It is because of its unique charm that is different from other paintings,and it still attracts artists to study and learn.This paper takes the cutting skills in woodblock painting as the research topic for the "reality" performance.Firstly,it begins with the introduction of the "reality" performance in the paintings.Secondly,it compares the "reality" performance of the traditional Chinese and Western traditional woodcuts,focusing on the "reality" performance of the cutting skills in contemporary woodblock prints,such as the "reality" performance of the cutting skills and black and white,the "reality" performance of the cutting skills and the cutting mark,the "reality" performance of the cutting skills and the light and shadow,the "reality" performance of the cutting skills in the woodcut.At the same time,from the Guanlan International Print Exhibition,the "reality" of the cutting skills performance in the woodblock prints at home and abroad was analyzed and compared accordingly.Each artist expresses the "reality" of the cutting skills in the form of painting language,which includes the "reality" of real life,the "reality" of inner feelings,the "reality" of dream fantasy,the "reality" of abstract symbols,and so on.These "reality" have created a rich expression in the woodblock prints.Finally,from the practice of my creations,I discuss my opinions and pursuit for "reality" performance of the cutting skills in the woodblock prints.Nowadays,in the era of internationalization and pluralism,the printmakers use the cutting skills to find the true self,the happy self and the self that separates the secular influence.It is almost the stand and attitude of each artist to think independently.Only when the audience uses their eyes to watch and experience with their hearts can they realize the "reality" meaning of the work.Through the study of the "reality" performance of the cutting skills,it not only enriches the theoretical knowledge of woodblock art,but also brings profound enlightenment and significance to the current printmakers in artistic creation.
