The Italian opera Othello is the last opera of the great composer Giuseppe Verdi in his later years,and it is also the highest level of Italian opera."Willow,Willow" has become the most famous soprano aria in this great opera because of its beautiful melody and ingenious musical structure.In order to perform this aria more accurately,the author makes a comparative analysis of the singing versions of Renata Tebaldi and Mirella Freni.This paper first gives a brief overview of the creation of Othello and the character of the heroine Desdemona,and briefly introduces the plot of Willow and Willow and its relationship with the plot,then makes a detailed analysis of the musical text of Willow,Willow,and makes a detailed comparison and explanation of the singing versions of the two singers.Then it makes a comment on the singing versions of the two singers,and introduces the enlightenment that the author gets from the research,and finally puts forward some suggestions on the language and low voice technology training of the aria "Willow,Willow".And give suggestions on the selection and reference of the version for friends who are interested in learning and singing this aria.I hope this article can give some inspiration to vocal music lovers who are interested in learning the aria "Willow,Willow".
