Jin Yong's novels contain rich elements of traditional Chinese culture,such as Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism,agriculture,industry,commerce,piano,chess,calligraphy art,paintings and so on.,which add Chinese charm and Chinese temperament to the novel.The characters in Jin Yong's novels show Confucianism,Buddhism,and Taoism.The novel's heritage,which is nourished by Confucian culture,is different from traditional martial arts novels.In particular,Jin Yong's novels incorporate Confucianism,adhere to the public's standpoint,and portray the knights who bear the responsibility of home and country,maintain an independent personality,and make Jin Yong's novels unique.Based on the Confucian cultural spirit in Jin Yong's novels,this article explores the basic connotation of Confucian cultural spirit in Jin Yong's novels,and follows this clue to find the formation mechanism of Confucian cultural spirit in Jin Yong's novels.Then explores the modernity breakthrough of Jin Yong's novels,and finally Analyze the epoch value of Confucian cultural spirit in Jin Yong's novels.The first chapter analyzes the connotation of Confucian cultural spirit in Jin Yong's novels.The first section defines the Confucian cultural spirit around Confucianism,culture,and spirit.The second section reviews the development of traditional martial arts novels and points out the lack of knight image in traditional martial arts novels.The third section focuses on the text and discusses the spirit of Confucian culture in Jin Yong's novels in detail.They are the spirit of responsibility,the spirit of self-improvement,the ethical spirit of mutual respect,and the fearless spirit.The second chapter reveals the mechanism of Confucian cultural spirit in Jin Yong's novels,and explores the underlying reasons for these cultural spirits in Jin Yong's novels.Jin Yong's creation was under the background of Hong Kong being fully westernized by British colonists.In the 1950 s,martial arts culture had been heavily precipitated.In addition,Jin Yong was influenced by the traditional culture he received from his childhood and was influenced by his life experience.Confucianism is expressed more in the novel.This article starts from the historical accumulation of martial arts culture in the objective aspect and the individual cultural literacy in thesubjective aspect.Historical accumulation mainly discusses Jin Yong's inheritance and development of traditional martial arts novels based on a long-standing martial arts culture,such as Tang Chivalry Legends,Ming and Qing Official Novels,and Martial Arts in the Republic of China.Jin Yong inherited the traditional martial arts novels and made some breakthroughs,and became a master of martial arts novels.The author's personal cultural literacy is mainly divided into two parts: literary material and literary character.From the perspective of literary materials,including the author's growth experience and ideology.Literary character is an introduction to Jin Yong's artistic skills,characterization,background creation,and cultural connotation.The third chapter explores Jin Yong's novels on the premise of inheriting Confucian culture,and further combines modern breakthroughs made in accordance with the requirements of the times,which are respectively developed from three aspects.The first is the personality mask from simple to complex.From the early righteousness to the righteousness,the evil is the evil.The character images that Jin Yong created in the later period are often right and wrong,and it is difficult to determine by simple dichotomy.The second is the change of ethics,taking the relationship between father and son as an example.In Jin Yong's early novels,his father is imagined by his children,and he is the object of their admiration and respect.However,in Jin Yong's novels in the middle and later period,the father's generation was not perfect,and this kind of understanding of the father's generation turned from imagination to reality.Finally,the development of national ideas.In terms of national ideas,Jin Yong's change was obvious,from an early bias to one ethnic group,and developing into an equal blend of people of all ethnic groups.The fourth chapter discusses the contemporary value of Confucian cultural spirit in Jin Yong's novels.The first section discusses the contemporary significance of Confucian cultural spirit in Jin Yong's novels.In Jin Yong's novels,the spirit of taking the lead of knights and righteousness,the spirit of self-improvement,the ethical spirit of mutual respect,and the fearless spirit of death are still of great significance today.The second section analyzes the inheritance value of Jin Yong's novels to Chinese traditional culture at home and abroad.The third section starts with Jin Yong's novel being a component of popular literature,and confronts its place in the history of literature.
