Psychological stress is a hot topic,which has a great negative impact on individual lives and deserving to study.After reviewing literature,we find that there is almost no study to explore the relationship between the two basic neurological variables of nervous system strength,intelligence efficiency and psychological stress.However,some studies can speculate that individuals with strong nervous system strength and high intelligence efficiency have low psychological pressure.This study shows that there is a relationship between nervous system strength,intelligence efficiency and psychological pressure,but the specific mechanism is not clear.According to the cognitive interaction theory of stress,cognitive evaluation has an important influence on the generation of psychological stress,while self-esteem and self-efficacy are related to cognitive evaluation.Therefore,this study explores the relationship between nervous system strength,intelligence efficiency and psychological stress,and further explores the mediating role of self-esteem and self-efficacy.In this study,a total of 936 high school students from Nantong are selected to explore the relationship among nervous system strength,intelligence efficiency and psychological stress through questionnaire survey of SSMSS,STI,Ie,GSES and SES.The results obtained through multiple mediating effect analysis and structural equation model are as follows:(1)The psychological stress of students in senior one is higher than that of students in senior two.There is no significant grade difference in the intensity of nervous system,intelligence efficiency,self-esteem and self-efficacy,whether in study,classmates and friends or in self-body and mind.(2)Nervous system strength,intelligence efficiency,self-efficacy and self-esteem negatively predict psychological stress;(3)The strength of nervous system is related to psychological stress partially mediating by self-esteem;(4)The intelligence efficiency is related to psychological stress partially mediating by self-esteem;(5)Self-efficacy can not act as partial mediators between nervous system strength and psychological pressure,intelligence efficiency and psychological pressure.Therefore,the conclusion of this study is:(1)In high school students,self-esteem act as partial mediators between nervous system strength and psychological stress;(2)In high school students,self-esteem act as partial mediators between intelligence efficiency and psychological stress;(3)In high school students,self-efficacy can not act as partial mediators between nervous system strength and psychological pressure,intelligence efficiency and psychological pressure.
