Since 1980,China has become the world's fastest-growing economy and has attracted the attention of countries around the world.Since China entered the WTO on December 11th,2001,international business cooperation has grown exponentially.Since the 21st century,China's economy has continued to grow,attracting many international companies and individuals to come to China for development.At the same time,the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has also developed rapidly,ushering in the"Chinese language rush"era.Against this background,we can see that the demand for learning Chinese has increased significantly in various countries,and the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has gradually shown a trend of diversification and specialization.International people who come to China to work or engage in trade activities have started learning Chinese.It is one of the research contents of this thesis.These international people are not studying Chinese language at the level of the need to get by with daily life,but also focusing on practical business Chinese.Gradually,business Chinese teaching has become a special field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and it has gradually become a popular choice for business people and the working class around the world.Business Chinese is the abbreviation of"Business Chinese Teaching for Foreigners",which is translated into English as"the teaching of business Chinese to foreigners".This is no different from teaching English as a second language,German as a second language,or Portuguese as a second language.It aims to provide more professional Chinese training for foreigners planning business activities with Chinese.The author studies the teaching scale of business Chinese and the feasibility of teaching,focusing on the motivation of student,the general quality of course delivery and students attitude to studies.Based on the study of business Chinese teaching in Nigeria and the characteristics of business Chinese teaching,the process of business Chinese teaching in Nigeria was evaluated.Based on the observations and inferences of the survey,the principles and skills of business Chinese teaching suitable for Nigerian students are summarized,and specific suggestions for improvement are proposed.Textbooks play a very important role in language learning,but the teacher's explanation of the content in the textbooks is the main source for learners to acquire business Chinese knowledge.The author hopes that his attempts today will provide sufficient information for improving business Chinese teaching in Nigeria and provide reference for future research on business Chinese teaching methods.The author investigated and analyzed the business Chinese teaching in two private classrooms in Nigeria,and designed a questionnaire from the perspectives of teaching,textbooks,teachers and students,focusing on the basic situation of Nigerian business Chinese in these four aspects.
