Research On The “ Spatial Poetics” Of Gaston Bachelard

Compared with the research of poetics in time dimension,the study of spatial poetics started late but showed a trend of rising and emerging."spatial poetics " has now become one of the frontier poetics research fields in academia.Gaston Bachelard,a French scholar,put forward the concept of " spatial poetics" earlier,make up the blank in the research of space in the field of literary theory,but also promoted the space problem in intellectual power relations and cultural studies,social production significance in exploration and development.This paper is divided into three parts.Starting from Gaston Bachelard 's spatial poetics,this paper explores the theoretical basis of Bachelard 's literary turn of spatial poetics,and sorts out Bachelard 's inspiration and evolution of spatial poetics.The most central part in the middle is to study Bachelard 's ideological system of " spatial poetics ",to make a detailed interpretation of Bachelard 's spatial poetics based on his works,and to present the spatial poetics embodied in it one by one.The first part explores the theoretical basis of Gaston Bachelard 's thought of " spatial poetics ".The basis has two aspects,one is against the background of the quiet start of western spatial theory,the emergence of space thoughts in philosophy and social science has aroused the interest of the research of space in the field of literature.Second,Bachelard made great achievements in the early stage of scientific epistemology,brewing poetic literary turn in poetic research,and the emergence of phenomenology provided a methodological tool to for Bachelard to study spatial poetics.The second part analyzes the image of happy space mentioned by Bachelard in the poetics of space,in which the image of house,nest and shell is the shelter of human body and soul.Drawers,boxes and cabinets are inner spaces of secrets and memories;The corner is the refuge of solitude;The circle is the primordial nature of life.In addition,Bachelard also studied the size of space,interior and exterior presented by dialectics.The third part sorts out the development of spatial poetics in the later period.As the founder of spatial poetics,Bachelard has inspired the multi-direction development of spatial issues in the later period and exerted a profound influence on scholars such as Michel Foucault,Henri Lefebvre and David Harvey,making spatial poetics develop not only in the creation of literature,the reading of readers and the imagination of space,but also in the fields of social relations,political power and cultural studies.
